Make Trump Sit A Mensa Entrance Test -Then We'll See What A "Stable Genius" He Is

Related image
"Doh! I'm a very stable genius!  So I don't believe that stupid book! And I'll even take the Mensa test to prove it!"

The soon to be released book by Trump niece, Mary Trump ('Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man') ,  includes some real blockbuster revelations, many of which haven't appeared in earlier  Trump expose books  such as: 'Fire and Fury', by Michael Wolff,  'FEAR: Trump In The White House', by Bob Woodward,  'A Warning' by Anonymous, and 'The Room Where It Happened' by John Bolton.

Of particular interest to me was Trump having to hire a substitute kid (a Joe Shapiro) to sit the SAT for him.   This was necessary because as a HS kid Trump had visions of "the best school in the world" and that was UPenn's Wharton School of Business. Trouble was, his less than stellar academic grades (according to Mary Trump) would not have enabled him entry on their own merits.

The high score  (over 1400) the chosen proxy earned, assured Trump of an acceptance he'd otherwise never have had.   In the wake of the release of the book to journalists, some have debated whether the account is true.  But I have no doubt it is, first because I trust Mary Trump's word - and certainly over anything Trump or his retinue of liars says. And secondly because it fits in with his abysmal character traits as a narcissistic, compulsory cheat (who even cheats at games like golf) and a general moral reprobate.  A reprobate with no moral compass, period.  So why wouldn't he cheat?  It makes perfect, logical sense, especially for a crook and traitor who's already racked up over 5,000 lies. Oh, and sought sundry ways to enlist the help of other nations (like Ukraine, Russia) to help him win re-election.

Cheating by hiring a proxy to sit the SAT for him? A no brainer.  Here  are also some other explosive reveals about the maggot fouling the highest office:

1) Trump’s niece revealed how she leaked hordes of confidential Trump family financial documents to the New York Times in an effort to expose her uncle, whom she portrays as a dangerous sociopath,” This, according to Rachel Maddow's reporting on the book last night.  Maddow also reported that when  NY Times reporter Susanne Craig showed up at her door, Mary Trump “initially turned Craig away, telling her that she didn’t talk to reporters.” But she reconsidered,  especially after seeing how her uncle was "shredding every norm" and being enabled at every step.  So she decided to work with the Times, which directed her to the likely venue for Trump's tax records, and she hauled out 19 boxes worth.  from the law firm, Farrell Fritz,” Swan notes.

2) Trump’s world view was shaped by a desire to avoid his father’s disapproval. Here, Mary Trump paints a damning picture of Fred Trump, Sr., saying that he came to envy his son’s “confidence and brazenness.”   In the Washington Post, reporters Shane Harris and Michael Kranish explain that Donald Trump’s “view of the world was shaped by his desire during childhood to avoid his father’s disapproval, according to the niece, Mary L. Trump.”

Trump still claims,  despite his obvious mental -cognitive infirmities,  that he's a stable genius.  Well, let's see how he does on the Mensa entrance test, for which he will not be able to hire a substitute to try to gain admittance.  Of course, Mensa entry, i.e.  at the upper 2%  of IQ level, or roughly 132 on the Stanford -Binet scale, is "gifted" - but not genius.  That  level is at least 15 points higher.

In any case, given Trump's severe mental deficiencies,  it is as likely he'd make either cut  (gifted or genius) as it is he sat that SAT himself ca. 1964.

Racist Harpy Hyde-Smith Wins MS Runoff - But Not Because of Deadbeat Dotard's "Help"

Image result for brane space, Trump swineRepublican Cindy Hyde-Smith won in a special election for Mississippi’s senate seat.
"I think Cindy Hyde-Smith is the greatest! Plus she's a white racist just like me! Oink! Oink! Sniff!"

Sadly, but predictably in racist Mississippi, Cindy Hyde-Smith won the state's special runoff election for the US Senate based on results coming in as I write. These show the racist harpy with a margin of 55% to 45%  over Democrat Mike Espy with 77% of precincts reporting. in a closer than expected race that stirred up Mississippi’s  nefarious racial history.

I myself only learned of the vile nature of said history in my freshman year at Loyola given I was situated across the Biever Hall dorm from two good old boys from Jackson:   Roy Woody and Bill Dooley. Late into the night we'd  vigorously argue the issue of race and  how their state - in the fall of 1964- could harbor backward laws that kept African -Americans from using the same restaurants, beaches, facilities that whites could.  According to Woody and Dooley, it was just the "way things were" and besides, the "blacks folks were happy 'cause they wanted to kinda be with their own."

My hostility to the South's Jim Crow laws originated from those Loyola bull sessions, and  was again incited yesterday when wifey and I saw the terrific, Oscar -worthy movie entitled 'Green Book'. It was about a black classical pianist (Dr. Donald Shirley)  traveling throughout the deep South in 1962 on a concert tour - with a tough  Bronx, Italian bouncer ("Tony Lip", played by Viggo Mortensen) as his driver and body guard. Well, he certainly needed the tough guy in a number of situations.

Anyway, the film reminded me once again of how things were in Mississippi in the 1960s, as well as neighboring states.  Janice herself was appalled especially in he scene where Dr. Shirley - who wanted to use a rest room at a particular venue - was directed outside to an outhouse instead. He wasn't allowed to step foot into the facilities in the mansion where he was to play.  "Good god! What kind of people were these?"   Janice asked. Well the same type as Hyde-Smith now.

To clarify, this runoff drew national attention after Hyde-Smith made a series of racially loaded remarks, most notoriously when she said of a supporter “if he invited me to a public hanging, I would be on the front row.”   The statement provoked controversy in a state that had more lynchings than any other  in the country, considering she ran against an African -American opponent, Mike Espy. Hyde-Smith was initially defensive about the comments - especially after more than a half dozen businesses pulled their backing and demanded their donations back.   She eventually offered the standard non- apology, i.e. regretting her remarks to “anyone that was offended”.  In other words, putting the blame on the offended for being "snow flakes" rather than her garbage self for spewing racist hate about lynching black citizens.

Her behavior and flippancy also recalled the "sundown" laws enacted throughout the deep South (and shown in at least one of the movie scenes, in Georgia) where all black people had to be inside by sundown or face lynching.  Both Bill Dooley and his roommate Roy Woody, confirmed for me they were still carried out in Mississippi in 1964.

A more notable question is why Dotard was out campaigning for this racist witch spewing his usual lies, like he was doing for a whole month before the midterms?  Well, the answers are obvious. First, he came out to support a kindred spirit, a fellow racist, and especially in order to increase the Repuke margin in the Senate.  Second, he wanted....needed....to get out and away from the White House -  a place that merely reminds him of his abiding incompetence and laziness. A place that continually mocks all he stands for because he knows he doesn't measure up. He is incapable of any serious activity, and is reduced to watching FOX news, tweeting and gobbling KFC chicken-   that is when hes not taking golfing breaks- more than any other president in history.

But we've known this, most of us, since day one when the swine arrived. Hell, five days into his presidency he  even bawled that the job had  turned out to be too much for him to deal. Too many details, too much stuff to master for an extensive government bureaucracy.  Hence, his penchant for becoming a cable TV and tweet addict. See e.g.

http://theconcourse.deadspin.com/donald-trump-stunned-to-learn-presidency-is-an-actual-j-1792215349

Excerpt:

Being president is harder than Donald Trump thought,” begins the article, neatly capturing the blithe, criminal ignorance that characterizes both Trump himself and the many dozens of millions of morons who thought he should be the leader of the free world. Yes, being the president is a harder job than Donald Trump would expect, because Donald Trump had never previously held an actual job, because actually, spending your inheritance on a succession of failed cons is not an actual job."

Much insight also arrived with Michael Wolff's book, 'Fire and Fury' - reporting that wife Melania cried after late returns showed Trump had enough electoral votes to win.   But it doesn't take a Mensan IQ to figure out that Wolff's  report on Melania weeping  was true and not fake news.  Why?  Because she - like the other Trumpkins - knew the Dotard.....errr,....."the Donald", was not cut out for a real job and especially one so intense, hyper scrutinized and high profile as the President of the United States. One in which he'd be lashed mercilessly if he didn't live up to the sane and sober standards of previous office holders, like FDR, JFK and Barack Obama.

As one reads from the book adaptation in The New  York Magazine:

"Even though the numbers in a few key states had appeared to be changing to Trump’s advantage, neither Conway nor Trump himself nor his son-in-law, Jared Kushner — the effective head of the campaign — wavered in their certainty: Their unexpected adventure would soon be over. Not only would Trump not be president, almost everyone in the campaign agreed, he should probably not be. Conveniently, the former conviction meant nobody had to deal with the latter issue."

The proof and evidence the Dotard ought not have been president was clear within weeks of his inauguration, and his many getaways to Mar-a-Lago or Bedminster. Why? Because the actual job of running the nation daunted him.  It is a job for which one needs all active brain neurons, and also keeping them working at full attention level. This Dotard Donnie Trump couldn't do, and so he wasn't even able to read a one page briefing or keep his mind on a meeting with staff or a head of state. Hence, the many references to him as a "fucking idiot", "moron",  "imbecile" and on and on.

Recall also the guy had never really worked at a real job outside of owning his family branding business wherein he could order anyone to do his bidding. Oh, and  a real estate weasel and con man who used bankruptcy (of multiple casinos) to make more $$$ mostly at the expense of state governments.

Bottom line? There is little evidence that Trump's campaigning for Hyde-Smith helped her one iota. More than likely, as analyst Cornell Belcher put it on 'All In',  Mississippi's own racial history would ensure that Hyde-Smith would win.  He cited solid historical facts from previous elections that indicated rarely if ever were Mississippi whites going to vote more than 25 percent for a Dem or a black man.  Hence, Espy basically didn't stand a chance- with or without Trump.  He needed at least 20-25 % of the white vote and he didn't get it.

What this shows me is that Mississippi (my late brother Mike's favorite state)  still doesn't get it.  The state would rather continue to grovel in its sordid and sorry racist past than to step boldly into the 2st century.  It's no wonder then on nearly every quality of life indicator - from education to health care- Mississippi ranks dead last, or near to it.

And so long as they keep electing racist dog whistlers like Cindy Hyde-Smith, that won't change.

Why This Government Shutdown Could Last Weeks

Sign for closure placed outside a gov't bldg.Image result for Trump 'Don't flush'
One of the favorite depictions seen on signs of women marchers.

"As Lindsey Graham has been reporting, a 32-year old aide (Stephen Miller) is telling the President of the United States what to do.  Trump gives Minority Senate leader Schumer a number for agreement, Schumer accepts it - then it's blown up when Miller sees it. ...The real damage is that leaders across the world are seeing how weak, how pathetic  this President can be. He has to be the weakest in allowing a 32- year old to lead him around by the nose, and actually undercut him in negotiations with Senate leaders." - Joe Scarborough on MSNBC this morning

As the shutdown continues, most sentient beings in the capitol agree that if anyone apart from the Dotard gets the blame it is the 32 year old proto Nazi and Joseph Goebbels look-alike Stephen Miller, e.g.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgypWo0DCps

Miller's cynical manipulation of Trump was pointed out by Senator Lindsey Graham yesterday and repeated by Joe Scarborough in his statement this morning. Miller, the Goebbels wannabe, has had Trump's ear and been blowing up deal after deal, amendment after amendment - including an amendment proposed by Sen. Claire McCaskill to deliver emergency  funding to the military. But just as Dotard signaled possible agreement and an end to the shutdown, "Goebbels Junior"  nixed it. In other words, he barks "Jump!" and Dotard - like a beaten whelp- asks "How high?"  As Scarborough added:

"Would Barack Obama ever let a 32-year old staff member undercut him? Never! Never in a million years. Barack Obama was a strong leader. What we have here is a weak, weak uninformed leader - Michael Wolff was right.  We have such a weak leader that he lets 32 year olds lead him around and undercut him on negotiations."

This is why Scarborough could say that leaders across the world are seeing what a weak. pathetic putz we have for a leader. What a spineless, contemptible Pillsbury doughboy - all flab and no brain.

How is this germane? Because as long as Jr. Nazi Miller is driving Dotard, there will be NO deal, no end to the shut down. Further, the toxic rancor and rhetoric will accelerate.  How can it be otherwise when the man who purportedly should lead an end to this miasma doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground and has to consult a 32 -year old jackoff Nazi punk on when to take a dump.  For example, the tweet shown on Scarborough's show this morning had all the earmarks of a dumb puppet having his feeble brain "strings" pulled by Obersturmfuhrer Miller, e.g.

"The Democrats are turning down services and security for citizens in favor or services and security for non-citizens. Not good!"

But as Scarborough pointed out for the more feeble minded,  unsure of who to blame:

"Anybody who watched TV this weekend (e.g. C-SPAN) and saw the Senate in session saw that Claire McCaskill tried to pass an amendment that would allow for full funding of the military - Republicans stopped it. They tried to pass funding for the CHIP program, Republicans stopped it.  Tim Kaine tried to re-open the government for three days to get them the space to negotiate this week, but Republicans stopped it. Then Schumer and Trump came together on a deal for DACA - but Miller and the staff stopped it."

And so it's gone and so it goes. But do not look for daylight, as long as extremists are dictating terms to the alleged "leader of the free world" and his GOP cohort.

Let's not candy coat it: things are getting ever nastier in the home of the brave and the land of the free. The ongoing shutdown, itself a sign of the current levels of polarization and division,  descended to new lows over the weekend. This followed the incessant lies from the Trumpies- fanned by Miller and  his Right wing hack allies and followers.. Not to mention putting out a despicable TV ad released on Saturday, which said Democrats were: “complicit in every murder committed by illegal immigrants”.  You think the Dems will be inclined to deal with these asswipes now? Including agreeing to a short term (3 week) CR by noon today? If so you probably also believe in unicorns.

This is how low the current shutdown dialogue has taken us and it is bound to go to ever lower depths as the shutdown continues. And yes, this could last for weeks even as the mainstream media continue to breathlessly gasp about the "blame game".

Look, there is no "blame game" other than in pundits' feverish brains.  Graham and Scarborough nailed WHO is to blame and the Dems have nothing to do with it. As I posted previously this is all on the Repukes (wifey hates that term, but too bad, I'm sticking with it until they prove they can cease "re-puking" unworkable positions.)  -as The Denver Post reported yesterday (p. 11A) have now fully lined up with the extremist Right anti-immigration faction to try to disparage DACA  and the Dreamers.

The Post didn't mention it but Lindsey Graham did later, that Stephen Miller is the extremist "avatar" keeping Trump on the path to refusing every offer made by the Dems -including even providing significant funding for his goddamned stupid wall.  These extremists are the ones pushing the GOP to yield no ground for any compromise - say to put DACA on the table - for any continuing resolution (CR) or other bill to break the shutdown logjam.

This is why NO deal will manifest today, so don't hold your breath. The Dems - as part of any short term CR (until Feb. 8th) insist that the DACA issue be integrated into any future bill. The Democrats, in contrast to Trump, have consistently  made it  clear there can be no deal without DACA included. This is given 800,000 kids or young adults would otherwise be sent back to countries they've never lived in by March.  Further, the Democratic base and resistance is fully behind this stance. To cave now, or show cowardice in any form,  will definitely earn the Ds  resounding midterm losses as the base abandons them in November. So, they had better stay strong  and avoid bringing a mere knife to a gun fight. We want Uzis or AK-47s!

How low have things gotten in the meantime? Just look at that reprehensible ad released on Saturday, which said Democrats opposing Trump's hardline immigration agenda were “complicit in every murder committed by illegal immigrants”.  Marc Short, the White House director of legislative affairs, told NBC’s Meet the Press “that ad was produced by an outside group and not those of us in the White House”unfolds"   Never mind, Trump still approved of it, including  a picture of Dotard giving two thumbs up and his voice saying: “I’m Donald Trump and I approve this message.”

Bernie Sanders condemned the ad, saying, on CNN’s State of the Union on Sunday:

It is really unbelievable and so sad for our country that we have a president of the United States who says such nonsense and such outrageous statements,

You own it, fat boy, so deal with the fallout, which is primarily bad faith, lack of trust. The Dotard, with his balls locked up by the extreme Right, can't be expected to broker any reasonable end to the shutdown. Indeed, yesterday this turd tried to short circuit the process by appealing to his Repuke tribe to use the "nuclear option".  Such a move would allow Republicans to pass legislation without Democratic support, by lowering the majority needed to pass a bill to just 51 votes.

What was especially gratifying to see, was all the News shows  yesterday that repeated Fox and Friends footage from 2013, when Republicans in Congress drove the last government shutdown, over healthcare reform.  There, captured for posterity, was Donnie Dotard himself, bloviating:

Well, if you say who gets fired it always has to be the top.  I mean, problems start from the top and they have to get solved from the top and the president’s the leader. And he’s got to get everybody in a room and he’s got to lead.”

Donnie Dotard thought at the time he was too clever by half, given his critique took a shot at then President Obama.  But he couldn't have known that 4-plus years later his words would apply to him. I mean HE is now the guy at the top, or is supposed to be. HE is the one who is supposed to make the hard decisions to solve the shutdown - not let Right wing crazies bend his ears to keep it going.

As Sen. Chuck Schumer said in a Senate floor speech Saturday,  he had “essentially agreed to give the president something he wants” – funding for a border wall – “for something we both want”, status for Dreamers. Adding:

"It was now up to the president to end what he repeatedly called “the Trump shutdown."”.

But see, given Dotard's balls are in hock to Herr Miller and the extreme Right, he can't. He is essentially a political eunuch - having neutered himself - by ceding so much power to his junior aide Miller and the FOX et al crazies. Crazies (like John Birchers) who, merely 50 years ago, were rightfully scorned and relegated to the margins of American political status. While today, idiotic voters - hankering for an authoritarian white Master - have given them center stage.

So much for being the leader. Flush this presidential turd down the political toilet as numerous depictions portrayed in the Women's marches across the nation.

What's even more incredible than a U.S. President being led by the nose by a proto-Nazi punk?  Well, the answer is how many - who were ready to disown "the Donald" and  toss his fat ass into a mine shaft three months ago - are now prepared to follow him into hell over this shutdown and his anti-immigration stance.

Again, don't look for anything to come of the D-R confab a few hours from now, to try to get a 3 week reprieve. . Until and unless the Repukes detach themselves from the Right wing extremists - especially Stephen Miller - there will be no end to the shutdown.

Update: 2: 20 p.m. MST

As per the latest news it appears a temporary agreement - for a 3 week reprieve on the shutdown  - has been reached after all. This was after the Republicans made a "pledge" to consider DACA as part of any new spending bill. Before anyone gets all hyped up and overly positive let's bear in mind we've been down this road before - in December -, when Dems got a similar "pledge" from Bitch McConnell,  then were stabbed in the back. (Why many Left groups are saying the Dems caved.)  Personally, my bet is we will be right back where we are now come Feb. 8th. I could be wrong, and pigs could also fly and unicorns frolic in Rocky Mountain National Park..

Bottom line is there is a window to work things out during which the U.S. government will be open for business. But this depends on the good faith of the GOP (and especially Dotard and 'Mitch the Bitch')  to see the DACA aspect through and not screw over the Dems again. If I were a gov't worker, I'd start salting away money from now in case you face a much more prolonged furlough after February 8th.

On the actual positive side, the CHIP program as a result of today's CR vote, gets funding extended for another six years. Maybe that is worth caving for now.

How Long Before We Get Rid Of This Shithole Presidency?

With his outburst about "shithole countries" Trump has proven himself every bit the same vermin racist refuse as Adolf Hitler.

"This afternoon, the man who was elevated to the presidency of the United States, Trump - who was sued by the Nixon administration in the 1970s for refusing to rent apartments to African-Americans, who rose to political prominence by questioning whether the first black president was really an American, who kicked off his campaign by calling Mexicans rapists, and who - as President - said there were good people among the Nazis who marched at Charlottesville and killed a woman by ramming her with their car, that man - Donald Trump - in a meeting in the Oval Office, inside he White House, did the least surprising thing in his presidency to dateLeast surprising but an embarrassment to all Americans."   Joy Reid, lead in comment on 'All In'

A number of those appearing on the air tonight including Charlie Sykes ('How The Right Lost Its Mind'),  Rev. Al Sharpton, Fmr. Sen. Barbara Boxer, Fmr. Watergate attorney Jill Wine-Banks and others have noted how Trump's latest outburst from the Oval Office has defiled us all as a nation. In this latest iteration - proving again all of author Michael Wolff's claims are true, Dotard went on a rampage barking, “Why are we having all these people from shithole countries come here?”

This was immediately after being presented with a proposal to restore protections  for immigrants from countries such as El Salvador, Haiti and African nations as part of a bipartisan immigration deal.   This piece of shit pretender president then had the temerity to demand to know why the U.S. would accept immigrants from these nations and not Norway instead. (He had met its prime minister the day before). Given Norway is something like 99% Caucasoid it doesn't take extreme Sherlock Holmes' investigative insights to see this was a blatant racist statement. That it came from the person occupying the highest office in the land is a bloody travesty and further calls for his expeditious removal.

As Barbara Boxer put it: "Donald Trump has insulted every American. He has insulted my home state where we have ethnic harmony and all live together. So he is anti-American.."

Other voices noted how Trump has defiled the office of the presidency itself- which is now regarded by many as no better than a department of shit processing -  but also insults we the People. Never mind some of whom are responsible for putting this degenerate maniac into the nation's highest office.  I won't repeat all the ways Donald Drumpf  has defiled everything we as a People stand for, only again revisit how this latest episode has led us to a new national nadir.  But hopefully not a new national normal to which we become inured.

Most of those who commented on the prime time MSNBC talk shows tonight ('All In', Rachel Maddow, The Last Word),  agree to a person that Trump was playing largely to his revolting base who put him into office, e.g. this lot:

As CBC's Jason Johnson put it:

"It speaks to what we've seen before. There are people in his administration that are saying yes, there are racist White Nationalists in America that are happy to hear this. That Donald Trump wants to create a white nationalist state, to make sure non-white people do not have a role in this country."

Adding that Dotard's statement is also tantamount to a national security threat that indirectly gives aid and comfort to terrorists. So all those dissed black and brown people from the "shithole countries" may now be driven to find succor and support elsewhere.  But not in Trump's KKK dominated Amerikka. (Which is the version he truly wants to "make great")

In other words, we saw Dotard echoing pretty much the same chords that resounded from those who  marched in Charlottesville in August and who Trump referred to as "some very fine people".  We really shouldn't be surprised at his outburst today, however. Recall two days ago he delivered a trained puppet performance in the White House on the DACA and immigration law progress to try and make people believe he was a savvy, serious president. This is as opposed to the derelict loon depicted in Michael Wolff's book, 'Fire And Fury'.

So, Trump's minders (like Gen. John Kelly)  got him relatively under control before the meet - including with Democrats like Dianne Feinstein - so he appeared halfway sane. But as he bloviated about getting immigration reform done and even agreeing with Sen. Feinstein at times ("Yes we can work with that") his Right wing media pundit fans at Trump TV were becoming unhinged.  He was going to agree with Dianne Feinstein? What is he thinking? Watch, for example, Ann Coulter's response below, referring to "the lowest day of Trump's presidency":

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHzUOLOC5eQ

As she put it, "What he did was fulfill every description of him in the Michael Wolff book. He doesn't listen, has no command of the facts, always repeats the last thing he hears. "

Proving again that even a stopped clock is right twice each day.  But the point here is that Trump clearly was enraged that the Right's pundit class were chastising him so decided to go full tilt relive Charlottesville to appease them. Hence, the almost exact opposite response and unhinged, disgusting explosion today about "shithole countries".

When I heard this scatalogical reference actually repeated by Joy Reid, standing in for Chris Hayes on All In, it made me wonder why we can't somehow just terminate this malignant, cancerous  shithole presidency, with a shithead president. How much longer do we have to put up with his bullshit, bigoted rhetoric and actions now poisoning the nation beyond the White House itself?

Forget the 25th Amendment to the Constitution.  That won't work,  as a former aide to Sen. Birch Bayh (the architect of the amendment) pointed out two nights ago.  Why won't it work? Because even if - by some remote probability Trump's cabinet tries to invoke it (especially after this latest episode), Trump himself could file a "dispute". This would then require a two-thirds vote for removal in BOTH Houses of Congress.

That leaves impeachment (by the House Of Representative) as the only legal option to remove him,  followed by actual indictment by the Senate for "high crimes and misdemeanors".  That, however, would necessitate the Dems taking back both House and Senate in the fall and by margins sufficient to accomplish both.  While I do believe impeachment might get done -  I am doubtful we can get the indictment achieved without a literal Civil War.   Why? Because even by the impeachment phase, Trump's deplorable base of misfits would be talking tripe about the "Left"  trying to forcibly remove their asshole who was "duly elected".   (Recall also these loopy assholes sincerely believe WE are the ones who are "crazy" - merely because we possess a moral compass capable of reacting to the maggot's offenses and lies.)

In other words, they'd accuse us of using impeachment and indictment to achieve what we could not at the ballot box. But of course they miss the point. Recall that many of us after Trump was sworn in believed somehow he'd evolve from the low grade carny barker and become "presidential". That he'd finally put a "book end" to  the campaign and all the racial slurs barked out in the heat of it.  But that never occurred. He's still the half-cocked, dyspeptic, hateful bigot and wrecker of norms and national comity that he was over 2015-2016,

The issue being that he never did morph into a president, though he was given every opportunity. He continued to use the office to increase the level of coarseness and incivility in our dialogue as well as the nation's  divisions. He even brought disrepute on our country with his other stunts, including jousting with Kim Jung In over the size of nuclear buttons and declaring the Nazis marching at Charlottesville "some very fine people". Oh, and even backing a sex offender (Roy Moore) for an Alabama Senate seat - fortunately won by Doug Jones, a Dem.

As for DACA and immigration reform, now coming up to a deadline on Jan. 19th (otherwise a government shutdown), I say the Dems must make NO deal. Not if this piece of shit refuse insists on a border  wall being included as part of it. Nope, let the shutdown occur before accepting that raw turd from this fucking asshole.  Do not blink, do not give this degenerate swine even a partial victory.

Oh, and one more thing: If Donnie Dotard and his toxic party insist - as they now claim - of making low income people work to get access to Medicaid- tell them to go screw themselves. As for action, make sure unfettered access to Medicaid without any strings is part of any spending deal - now or in the future.

I Don't Need To Read 'Fire And Fury' To Know Trump Is A Degenerate Nutcase

Related image
"Hey, I never wanted to be President anyway! WAAAAAH!"

The new book ('Fire and Fury')  by Michael Wolff has the media world abuzz, and many outlets act as if this is the first time anyone ever heard of the half-cocked, insane chaos going on inside the Trump White House. Or that Trump, aka "Dotard",  possesses no more mental capacity than a half conscious idiot (or  as  media mogul Rupert Murdoch exclaimed after one phone call, "What a fucking idiot!" - reported in Wolff's  book).   Newly appointed deputy- chief of- staff  Katie Walsh, meanwhile,   introduced the meme that learning Dotard's  priorities was "like trying to find out what a child wants."  This was after she attempted to obtain a basic, three bullet point listing of Trump's priorities.

But none of this is news. Not really.  I'd been criticizing Trump's mental deficiencies and psychological imbalance in my blog posts since January, e.g..

And now the big - really BIG thing we learned - is that Dotard never really thought he'd be president anyway - it was all for an attention getting lark. Neither did wife Melania, who broke into tears after the electoral college win  - which ought never to have happened had the electors done their damned jobs, see e.g.

http://brane-space.blogspot.com/2017/10/trumps-dereliction-and-nuclear-security.html

It doesn't take a Mensan to figure out Melania clearly cried because she - like the other Trumpkins - knew the Dotard.....errr,....."the Donald", was not cut out for a real job and especially one so intense, hyper scrutinized and high profile as the President of the United States.

This Trump couldn't do, and so he wasn't even able to read a one page briefing or keep his mind on a meeting with staff or a head of state. Hence, the many references to him as an "idiot", "moron",  "imbecile" and on and on.

Recall also the guy had never really worked at a real job outside of owning his family branding business wherein he could order anyone to do his bidding. Oh, and  a real estate weasel and con man who used bankruptcy (of multiple casinos) to make more $$$ mostly at the expense of state governments.  The little bitch  even bawled later that the presidency had  turned out to be too much for him to deal with. Too many details, too much stuff to master for an extensive government bureaucracy.  Hence, his penchant for becoming a cable TV and tweet addict. See e.g.

But hey, as I noted at the time this came out, Dotard could have called in his chips and just resigned if the job was too much for his feeble brain.   It would have saved his sorry ass family and him a lot of embarrassment and now - an investigation. I mean why NOT resign? All this loser does anyway is waste time tweeting and watching TV for nine hours a day - when he isn't hosting his little rich country club boys or playing golf with them at Bedminster or Mar-a-  Lago. On the taxpayer's dime.

Of course, his delusional followers, bootlickers, ass kissers and other assorted lackeys will insist he merely enjoys  "working holidays" To which I call BULL SHIT! There is little doubt, very little, that if you are incapable of putting a full day's work in your normal work environment, you will not do it once you leave to go to a spacious hacienda with golf course, hot tubs and fancy restaurants.

Many Trump groupies, for sure, will believe this book is simply a "fake news" hit job by author Wolfe.  They may not even believe Steve Bannon's quoted words that the meeting in Trump Tower of July last year - of Don Jr., Kushner and Manafort with a Russian lawyer- was "treasonous" and "unpatriotic".  They may even believe the Trumpites can shut the book down now with a "cease and desist" order - forgetting that any president is fair game as a public figure. If Trump didn't want the unwanted portrayals and attention he should have stayed in his two bit chiseler real estate and money laundering business.

But the Trumpie groupies seeking to dismiss the book accounts all err because Wolff's methodology was simply to let the White House staff and Dotard himself spill their guts to him.  He'd actually set up a little card table in a side hallway with a tape recorder to make sure he got the exact quotes, words from the players, and then....let it roll.   As one commentator on MSNBC put it in a very good analogy this morning:

"This wasn't like an artist doing his own painting here. This was like giving 20 brushes to twenty  people and letting them paint their own parts of the canvas."

So, in fact, the personal interjection of Wolff was at a minimum, i.e. not affecting the content other than summing up the gist of what all the various players said, and so on.  But you can judge for yourselves.
