Trump Regrets Political Violence? Don't Freaking Make Me Laugh!

THE REAL TRUMP REVEALED:

Related image

"Hey! I like it when a guy punches a fake news critic in the face!  We oughtta have more of that in this country"

Trump knows his asinine low IQ base is stupid, but he must believe the rest of us are as well after that boffo performance last night in Wisconsin, at yet another "MAGA" (i.e. brown shirt) rally. Only this time he tried to offer up formulaic, meaningless words about the multiple bombs dispatched to his critics, before wailing on the critics and the media.  As Janice said, "How does this piece of shit get away with this?"  Well, because millions are too stupid to see beyond the savage bully and narcissist authoritarian veneer.   And this comes as we learn 8 devices now in total have been found and are now being examined for any forensic clues.

To show how dumb and demented his base is that shows up at rallies, just look at those yahoos who delivered false "it's on both sides" responses last night.  These morons blame the left for harassing the GOP stalwarts - like Sens. Mitch McConnell and Ted Cruz - at restaurants,  and believe in their moron hearts it's like mailing bombs out to political opponents.  Forget about passing a Mensa entrance test, most of these yokels couldn't pass a "Densa" test.

That applies to the WSJ editors as well, writing in one of today's gems ('The Politics of Pipe Bombs', p. A14) this delusional balderdash:

"Close to an election there are attempts to blame the devices on intemperate political rhetoric, especially from Donald Trump. We doubt this and we doubt it in the same way the attack on Steve Scalise and other Republicans ....was the fault of Bernie Sanders."

Totally different, you numskulls, given: a) Sanders was not President but an ardent and justified critic of Repuke policies like preventing those with preexisting conditions from getting health care, i.e. via the ACA, and b) he didn't actually call for outright violence - like punching people in the face or body slamming them like Donnie Dotard has.  But we know the WSJ editors, like the Reep media trolls,  are very worried now these incidents will generate an even bigger Blue Wave.

Look, let's cut the crap and all the "both sides" baloney!  ALL the mail bombs were dispatched to Trump critics, whether politicians or in the media.  It is obvious that some Trumpie sore head got unhinged, probably after one of Trump's recent hate fest rallies, and decided to take matters into his own hands.  And no I do not buy the Right Wing Troll Media's frothing horse shit that these incidents are all  just part of a "false flag" operation to pin the tail on the Right, e.g.

Trump Lovers Are Already Claiming Explosive Devices Sent to Obama, Clinton and CNN Are 'False Flags'

I don't buy that codswallop any more than the deranged Alex Jones'  tripe that Sandy Hook was a false flag and the kids actually slaughtered were merely child actors - now quite alive and romping somewhere in the woods - amused they pulled off a real media coup.  This one designed to grab guns from the gun nuts.

I know the average American now has the attention span of a gnat, and even less memory of recent political events, far less historical ones. But it shouldn't be too much of a stretch or mental demand  to recall the incendiary words of the Swine-in-chief at a rally last week in Missoula, Montana.  Recall this POS celebrated Republican representative, Greg Gianforte, violently attacking Guardian reporter Ben Jacobs last year. Jacobs was simply trying to ask a question about health care, but within seconds was body-slammed and hurt by Gianforte.

The slime criminal thug subsequently won election to the House but later pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault. At the rally last Thursday, Trump cheered the congressman as a “tough cookie”, and roused his supporters by loudly proclaiming: “Any guy that can do a body slam, he’s my kind of guy.”  What kind of message does that send?

What kind of message got sent last August (is that too far back?) when Trump - after the neo-Nazis marched with KKK-Aryan allies in Charlottesville, and killed a woman protester (Heather Heyer) e.g.
Rescue workers assist people who were injured when a car drove through a group of people in Charlottesville.

Recall that Dotard Trump referred to the killers, and other marching Nazis with Tiki torches as "some very fine people".

Trump had one primary job to do last night, just one: an unqualified condemnation of terrorist acts.  Acts designed to instill fear in people, but especially in his own critics in the 4th estate and political opposition.

But this he could not do,  instead bellowing within minutes of delivering a half -hearted objection to the bombs:

"The media also has a responsibility to set a civil tone and to stop the endless hostility and constant negative and oftentimes false attacks in news stories"

In other words, the deranged fucker wants no criticism - none!  Despite the fact the job of the press is to hold power - especially unchecked - to account. No,  this blowhard authoritarian wants no part of it, only adulation - or at least looking the other way -  while he cages infants, encourages political violence, and makes nicey with a guy who helped hoist him into the presidency.

And let's not pretend this is all just coming out now, oh no. From the 2016 dumpster fire of an election campaign we knew the nature of this walking slime.

Trump has repeatedly invited his supporters to beat up protesters at his rallies, implying that the protesters bring physical assaults on themselves by disrupting him.

Neither the fatal shootings at a newspaper in Maryland nor the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul have discouraged this filth from blasting journalists as “enemies of the people”.

And don't think for a second the Trumpist hate doesn't creep out from rallies and rebound on those trying to do their damned jobs. For example, at a CNN forum on Monday, Maggie Haberman of the New York Times talked about her children sobbing because they are so scared for her and their own safety because of the vitriol and threats that are flung at reporters covering Trump rallies
There's one person and one alone, who can stop this nation's spiral into civil war and even worse violence: Donald John Trump. He could have started the path to peace and civility last night by using the pipe bombs as a message to followers to truly back away from political violence. Instead he merely postured with empty, meaningless words before coming right back and attacking the press and political opponents.
As former DOJ spokesman Matt Miller put it last night:
"The problem is he doesn't have the credibility to deliver this message. So when you hear the words you know they ring hollow, and he can't stick with it because he doesn't really mean it. And we already see him turning and trying to blame this on Democrats tonight and I's sure we'll see even worse from him tomorrow."

Of that I have no doubt, because we have a human maggot in the highest office, incapable of setting any kind of judicious or civil example. He is a brat, bully and thug at heart and that will never change.

Right Wing WSJ Letter Writer Tries To Blame Violence And Rage On The "Radical Left"

Image may contain: one or more people and text

It is well known, or ought to be by now, that the resolute faux news Trumpies are not invested in history, facts or objective truth. Look, for example, at all the traction that Alex Jones is getting by featuring a psychotic guest who's claimed there are "child sex slave colonies" on the planet Mars. Then there is the WSJ letter writer, a Mary R. Schneider, from Avon Lake, OH who had her militant letter ('A Double Standard for Violence, Intimidation') published in the June 3rd WSJ.

Schneider's whacked out letter is notable for the gazillion bytes of facts - all well documented- she leaves out to try to make the case the "radical left" are the bad guys in the country, stirring up violence and extremism. This despite the controverting facts that since Trump got in Neo Nazis, Muslim haters, Jew haters and other haters have all been having a heyday - including defiling Jewish cemeteries,  attacking innocents and even good Samaritans on trains -as in Portland, Oregon recently - and scrawling Nazi swastikas all over the damned place, e.g.
Image may contain: outdoor

All this has been going on, out in the open for the past year, so one wonders what little isolated, right wing cubbyhole Schneider has inhabited . Well, of course if all she watches is FOX News that would explain it. Still, one would have to be deaf, dumb, blind and stupid to miss as many alarm signs as are out there.

Richard Cohen, writing in the SPLC Report ('Welcome To Donald Trump's America', Summer, 2017), notes that what was called "the Trump effect" manifested from a year ago - documented by a survey of 2,000 educators. The gist of the report was that Trump's campaign rhetoric had inflamed racial and ethnic tensions in the classroom leading to a sharp uptick in bullying of minority children. A 2nd survey of 10,000 educators reinforced the original findings, documenting nearly 900 bias-related incidents in the first 10 days after the election. (Many of the perps referenced Trump or his campaign slogans).

Without a doubt, Trump's ascension has really turned the Reich wing nuts loose and now they feel they have a guy in the WH who has their back, so are emboldened to do anything they want.  The SPLC Report (op. cit.) noted especially that "white nationalists and Nazis were enthused" over Trump's first 100 days. Meanwhile, these denizens cheered like drooling morons at every anti-media tweet the Dumpster posted - always hankering for more.

In her letter, Schneider, in answer to a column by Peggy Noonan ('Rage is all the Rage'),  claimed "that If any other Republican had been elected" in 2016, the Left would still have made the person the "target of violent speech".  Which is nonsense in two ways. First, there has not been "violent speech", but rather angry demonstrations such as immediately following Trump's aberrant election including the Women's March. Second, the reason for anger  - which btw is not the same as violence - was clear from months ago when Trump bragged about sexually assaulting women ("you can just grab 'em by the pussy') and then this infamous brag about shooting someone on 5th avenue and not losing voters, See:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTACH1eVIaA

I am absolutely certain Schneider is one of the voters Trump wouldn't lose if he shot someone dead on Fifth Avenue. Let's also not forget this common thug's own enticement of violent behavior at his rallies, where he actually encouraged Trumpies to punch out protestors, and even go after the media. Then we've seen the latest video, redone from a WWF match, showing Trump beating the daylights out of a suit with a superimposed CNN logo for his head, thereby inciting his more volatile and unstable followers (Schneider?) to take action against the media. Ah yes, following in historical lockstep to Hitler's Sturm Abteilung (S.A.) commissioned to beat the then German reporters to a pulp - especially those that didn't print stories praising the Fuhrer. So, we've seen this act before, also the blindness of followers like Mary Schneider. (See Konrad Heiden's 'The Fuhrer')

Despite all of this, and as the most recent SPLC Intelligence Report notes, "a wave of anti-minority hate crimes washing over the country in the aftermath of Trump's victory" she has the absolute nerve and chutzpah to write:

"The political rage infecting the U.S. is almost exclusively a left-wing phenomenon,"

So I guess she missed all the hateful scenes and instances from the time of Obama, e.g.
Image result for obama lynched imagesImage result for obama lynched images
But maybe this woman is blind,  lives in a parallel universe or simply doesn't wish to see the ubiquitous rage on the Right.  Maybe she also missed the scene of Montana's thug Greg Gianforte who had left Guardian reporter Ben Jacobs being carted off to an ER after being body slammed, e.g.
Ben Jacobs with his broken glasses being carted off in the ambulance.
See any of that, missy? No? I could post a lot more images but what would be the point? Ordinarily I wouldn't even waste my time rebutting BS like Schneider's but someone has to skewer this type of nonsense and I am damned sure the Journal wouldn't publish any rebuttal letter of mine.

She also demonstrates her historical retardation writing:

"Violence has been part of the radical left's arsenal since the French Revolution"

In fact, the French Revolution disclosed a general popular revolt against a rarefied, entrenched upper crust or French aristocracy,  content to let thousands die of  hunger on the streets and in villages, as embodied in Marie Antoinette's famous put down: "Let them eat cake!"  Well, the entire French populace - not just the "left" (there really was no defined "left" until Karl Marx' 'Communist Manifesto' and  'Das Kapital'  decades later) rose up and put these privileged fools so dedicated to inequality to the guillotine.  It remains an object lesson for nations never to let inequality get too far out of control. (Right now, the Gini coefficient for the U.S. stands at 0.394, the highest it's ever been)

She then adds to this a large dollop of additional ignorance:

"It is the direct result of the hard left's rejection of traditional Christian morality and its embrace of moral relativism in pursuing its agenda, which allows leftists to demonize their political opponents and to use any means to defeat or even eliminate them."

Here she doesn't elaborate what she means by "traditional Christian morality" but in a previous post I already examined that what the left embraces is not moral relativism but moral provisionalism, e.g.

http://brane-space.blogspot.com/2017/05/moral-absolutism-is-trumped-by-moral.html

As for "demonizing" political opponents, this has almost entirely been done by the Right. Obama and Obamacare were a constant victim of this demonization, including depicting him as a witch doctor with a bone through his nose, as well as "Satan's son" , e.g.
Image result for Images of Obama depicted as AntichristImage result for Images of Obama depicted as Antichrist
Image result for Images of Obama depicted as Antichrist
If those Reich wing images don't meet the literal definition of "demonization" I don't know what does.

Use any means to defeat them? Here again "Mary, Mary quite contrary"  has her signals crossed. Last I checked it was the Repubs doing all the gerrymandering to ensure they'd never be defeated! As for "eliminating them" it was the Right and its associates in the MIC which eliminated JFK, Martin Luther King, Bobby Kennedy and Malcolm X, last I looked. Maybe the lady needs a course in modern American history. On the other hand, maybe it wouldn't do any good given how many modern American history texts have been converted to pabulum and 'feel good' propaganda..

Schneider, to her minor credit, does acquire a degree of graciousness at the very end, writing:

"Certainly, most liberals in the U.S. don't espouse violence ..."

Gee, thanks a heap, lady! But she goes on to babble:

"but a growing, radicalized minority of them do and often with the tacit approval of their less radical brethren..."

Failing to cite any specific incidents or evidence. If she'd mentioned the Kathy Griffin incident with a prop of Trump's head, I'd have referred her to my previous post on it -

http://brane-space.blogspot.com/2017/06/kathy-griffins-bloody-trump-head-and.html

connected to artistic license and free speech. Was it possibly in poor taste? Yeah, maybe,  but not as much as Ku Kluxers putting up posters of branding and whipping Michelle Obama!

At the very end she bids "mainstream liberals" to reject the "demonization of those who don't share their views", but makes no symmetric demand on the extreme Right, which generated the images above. She then ends with:

"Unless they subordinate their ideology to morality, the rage and violence will get worse."

Indeed, but see, that works both ways: If the Right doesn't subordinate its ideology to a morally refined conscience, then things can only get worse : more bullying and terrorizing of minorities, more instances of Reepos beating up reporters, and more thwarting and threats at minorities trying to vote.

Schneider's missive shows it's damned easy to dictate that others "reject their ideology for morality" and abhor rage and violence . It's much more difficult to issue similar dictates for your own side!

Montana Elects GOP Thug Gianforte - But Dems Can Use Incident In Ads

Most of the sentient segment of the U.S. voting public had hoped for a miracle in the Montana special congressional election yesterday, but it was not to be. This  was after millions beheld the sordid spectacle of the GOP thug Greg Gianforte body slamming and beating a reporter - Ben Jacobs.  Those who were moved to a moral animus against Gianforte's antics had hoped Montana's voters would send an unambiguous message  i.e. that buffonish bullying doesn't pay. But even as Gianforte's thug idol Trump was seen pushing Montenegro's President out of the way at the NATO summit  Gianforte was prevailing in the Montana special congressional election.  The Associated Press called it after 522 of 681 precincts – or 77% – reported. At that point Gianforte had 163, 539 votes, or 51% of the vote, compared with challenger Rob Quist’s 140,594 votes, or 44%.

Predictably, speaking at the G7 meeting in Sicily on Friday, Trump called the victory a “great win in Montana”. Translation: "I'm very glad another buffoon bully like me got a win!"

In fact, Gianforte's electoral win may not be so much from Montanans not  caring about a thug representing them (though many clearly didn't) but that the outcome was decided before the incident.  Again, the audio recording of the incident can be found here:

http://www.kbzk.com/clip/13358489/greg-gianforte-accused-of-body-slamming-reporter-audio

Thus, the result may more have been a reflection of the fact that owing to early voting, nearly thirty seven percent of the state's voters had already cast ballots before the manhandling of the Guardian reporter, Ben Jacobs.

A photo op last night captured the thug emerging from a blue curtain to greet a cheering crowd. Gianforte attempted an apology for his actions on Wednesday, talking past the laughter of the gung ho, pro-Trump crowd to say: “Last night, I made a mistake and I took an action that I can’t take back, and I’m not proud of what happened. I should not have responded the way that I did and for that I’m sorry.”

A member of the crowd, likely another thug,  shouted: “And you’re forgiven!

Gianforte continued: “I should not have treated that reporter that way, and for that I’m sorry, Mr Ben Jacobs.”

He also added: "That is not the person I am."

But in fact that was exactly the person he is.  As my psychologist niece Shayl puts it: "One's true self isn't revealed under normal steady or favorable circumstances but under high stress."  In other words, if you're harboring a raging ape inside, the right stressor will likely bring it out. In Gianforte's case the "straw that broke the camel's back"  was Jacobs' question on the CBO scoring of the AHCA.

The most laughable aspect from Gianforte's appearance? Promising to work with  Trump to "drain the swamp" when he is part of the swamp.  Clearly one of the more aggressive, unhinged apes lurking about - based on his Wednesday night throttling of Jacobs- sending him to the ER in Bozeman. You can also be sure when this thug arrives in D.C. every eye will be monitoring his behavior every time he appears in public.

Though they lost the MT election, Dems can still parlay it into some political capital by integrating the audio of the incident into ads for the 2018 midterm elections.  The mission: Tie Gianforte's  behavior into Trump -style bullying and intimidation such as we beheld at numerous Trump campaign rallies when protestors or members of the press were beaten mercilessly by Trumpite thugs and apes.

The prime objective is to make all these bullies pay the price at the midterm elections next year.

GOP Gangster Bum Greg Gianforte Body Slams Reporter - Deserves To Lose Montana Election

Ben Jacobs with his broken glasses being carted off in the ambulance.
Guardian reporter Ben Jacobs shown being carted off to the ER in Montana after being body slammed by GOP gangster, Greg Gianforte.

Gangster-style Trumpism has now reached its vile, bloodied hands into local state congressional races, in this case Montana's.  Even long time, news savvy reporters Jennifer Rubin (WaPo) and Steve Rattner, couldn't believe the audio clip  (see link at bottom)  played tonight as Guardian UK reporter Ben Jacobs was body slammed after asking an innocent question (regarding the CBO scoring of the GOP health bill)  of Repuke congressional candidate Greg Gianforte.  Both Rubin and Rattner insisted they'd never seen such a violent spectacle especially in U.S. politics.

We watched ("All In" with Chris Hayes) as the breaking news came in at 6:15 p.m. MT in total belief. "Holy shit!" Janice yelped. "We really have become a gangster state under the Repukes and Trump!"    I mean, let's face it, when you get to the stage of a politician hurling a reporter to the ground you are now talking of Nazi- style thug behavior not seen since the 1930s. As another guest on All In put it, "totally in-American".  Indeed!

Fox News reporter Alicia Alcuna, field producer Faith Mangan and photographer Keith Railey witnessed the incident, according to an account published by foxnews.com. After Jacobs asked Gianforte his question, Alcuna wrote, “Gianforte grabbed Jacobs by the neck with both hands and slammed him into the ground behind him."

She went on:

Faith, Keith and I watched in disbelief as Gianforte then began punching the man, as he moved on top the reporter and began yelling something to the effect of ‘I’m sick and tired of this!’ ... To be clear, at no point did any of us who witnessed this assault see Jacobs show any form of physical aggression toward Gianforte, who left the area after giving statements to local sheriff’s deputies.”

Jacobs subsequently reported the incident to the police. The Gallatin County sheriff’s office is investigating.

All the above puts the kibosh on the Gianforte campaign babble that it was Jacobs who had been the aggressor. Their version, e.g.:

"Jacobs entered the office without permission, aggressively shoved a microphone in Greg's face,  and began asking badgering questions.  Jacobs was asked to leave. After asking Jacobs to lower the recorder, Jacobs declined. Greg then attempted to grab the phone that was pushed in his face. Jacobs grabbed Greg’s wrist, and spun away from Greg, pushing them both to the ground. "

Is so patently full of bull shit that it rivals the Pizzagate fake news BS about Hillary running a child sex ring in the basement of a D.C. pizza parlor.  Indeed, one merely has to listen to the audio clip and the explosive violence and shouting (by Gianforte) to be able to deduce WHO the aggressor was and it damned sure wasn't Jacobs.  That Jacobs was the "poundee" as opposed to pounder is also validated by FOX News reporter Alicia Acuna who was in the room. So not only was Jacobs body slammed by the Reepo ape, but  Gianforte also  jumped onto Jacobs and punched him too.

Indeed, Gianforte's lackey's (Scanlon's ) account is manifestly contradicted not only by the violent abortive interview where one can almost visually see Jacobs getting body slammed - like Don Knotts by Hulk Hogan, but also by the Fox News reporter's account. Also, at no time during the audio recoding does one hear a word about Jacobs being asked to leave, so we see Gianforte's gangsters are exposed as fucking liars.

Jacobs, who injured his shoulder and had to go to an ER, as well as had his glasses broken, is the victim here and merits filing a law suit, for first degree assault and battery.

"He took me to the ground,” Jacobs said by phone from the back of an ambulance. “I think he wailed on me once or twice ... He got on me and I think he hit me ... This is the strangest thing that has ever happened to me in reporting on politics.”

Meanwhile, Montana's voters hopefully will be appraised of this vicious act as they go to the polls tomorrow. They need to do the right thing and send Gianforte a one time message that his sort of jackboot thug political violence will not be tolerated, not in their state and not under any circumstances.

You can hear the audio recording of the incident here:

Update:

Gianforte has been charged with misdemeanor assault and three Montana newspapers have withdrawn their endorsements.
