We continue now looking at the quantum solutions for a particle in a three -dimensional box, as displayed in the lower panel graphic of the previous instalment:
http://brane-space.blogspot.com/2011/01/solution-of-simple-quantum-mechanical.html
Because there are now three variables (x,y, z) instead of one, partial differentials will be needed so that most of the working will be via the graphic unpload image files, rather than in this text field.
The final solution, for one combination of n, m is depicted in the uppermost image, and this was done via Mathcad 14.
