Enough Impotent Reaction And Pussyfooting - It's Time To Take Down Trump - NOW!

"If you can't speak out now for democracy then you are no more than a terrorist sympathizer."-   Jason Johnson, 'Last Word', last night

"Trump lackey Michael Flynn actually went on crank conservative network Newsmax last week to broadcast the idea that it was one hundred percent normal for Trump to invoke  martial law to remain in  power.  Newsflash! It's not normal! When you use the military to overturn an election it's a coup.  Also not normal is these conversations about a coup are ongoing.

This talk of a coup has gone on long enough that some senior White House officials are actually afraid. One told Axios Trump is retweeting threats of putting politicians in jail and spends his time talking to conspiracy nuts how martial law is no big deal it's time to start getting anxious how this ends.   Another official said 'No one is sure how this is ending as Trump is president for another month.'

There are also kooks in congress telling Trump he can overturn the results of a free and fair election. So we have this kook in the White House who will be there until January 20th and trying every which way to hold onto power.

WHY isn't anyone stopping him?"  - Ali Velshi, last night on 'Last Word'.

Ali Velshi's challenge last night on MSNBC was as real and as serious as a heart attack: If you have elements in the existing government itself - including the sitting president - plotting to blow up the democratically -elected incoming administration, what do you do about it?

Do you sit on your ass and do nothing  but wring your hands and let the terrorist plot move forward, or do you act to bring it down?  Also, recognizing at some point you have to take the plot seriously and "break the glass" - whether that means invoking the 25th amendment or other means. Or else admit you care about neither the national welfare or democracy - opting for a mock form instead.

Velchi's warning last night was timely but it appears too many Americans (including in the media)  are in a haze,  only half paying attention.   Or else dismissing Trump and his cockeyed cabal as unserious or crazy in their ongoing coup effort,  which no one seems prepared to stop. In a real nation that values democracy and gives it more than lip service this orange wackjob would have been marched out of the White House in a straitjacket by now under the 25th amendment - or better yet hung as a traitor along with his enablers.  But instead the system merely goes on cruise control falsely believing "it can't really happen here."  Newsflash, it can.

When Ret. Col. Lawrence Wilkerson on ALL In Monday night proposed Michael Flynn be court-martialed and Trump taken down (as a psychotic)  via the 25th amendment, I was not surprised.  After all,  these two maggots - along with the conspiracy crackpot Sidney Powell- had been plotting sedition and the overthrow of an election all week. When Janice yelped "What're we going to do?"  after Chris Hayes' monologue, I told her not to worry.  The "company" (CIA) knows how to deal with treasonous  rats like Trump and they'd terminate him with extreme prejudice before allowing him to start a blood bath with active sedition and a coup to overthrow the incoming government.

But this is what the nation has come to now: A cockeyed, no count grifter, criminal and traitor resident-  unable to accept the verdict of 80m + Americans - now having exhausted all his legal tricks but using his lame duck time plotting how to stay in power. And all the time egged on by traitors in the GOP, like Matt Gaetz, Louis Goemert, Sidney Powell and fellow kooks and misfits.  As Ali Velshi put it in his impassioned opening on Last Word:

"Trump has a cavalcade of crazy enablers, fringe kooks, members of congress, his own chief of staff validating his worst instincts and encouraging him to believe that the solution to stopping Biden is still out there. Why isn't anyone stopping him? I'm asking you, senior administration officials, still giving blind quotes to news outlets. Trump lost the election and yet your cowardice knows no bounds.  You refuse to take a stand for American democracy like they did in the American Revolution and they did in the Civil War."

Sadly, all too true.  It's as if anyone who can stop him - outside  the national security state or military -  is too paralyzed with fear by the orange maggot freak. Why? He's total refuse, garbage, a cockroach.  He needs to be stepped on, smashed, pulverized and left to rot somewhere.  No man, no person has value above the nation as a whole-  but few seem to grasp that - at least those who have any levers of power left at the upper echelon of government.  It seems most are terrified not of Trump per se but his mob of  grieving MAGA dolts, racist slime and insurrectionist reprobates.

This begs the question of whether the US of A is approaching the turmoil, civil strife that preceded the installation of the Nazi Third Reich in the 1930s, extinguishing the Weimar Republic.   Some may view this suggestion as hysterical or exaggerated, but I'd warrant these critics have no knowledge of that era in World history, or not enough.

As documented by Ian Kershaw in his magnificent account of Hitler’s rise to power (‘Hitler Nemesis’) the pre-Reich Weimar Republic  was continually plagued by civil strife, turmoil and ultimately open warfare between left and right factions.  We also know - not only from Kershaw- that the Weimar Republic constituted a weak democracy which had little or no control over the most radical Rightists.

This applied especially to the organized street gangs Hitler organized under  Ernst Röhm, called the S.A.  or Sturm Abteilung.  The S.A.'s purpose - as noted by Kershaw was to regularly "beat Marxists, socialists, and any leftists on the streets while holding up signs that read: 'Tot dem Marxem!' (Death to Marxists!) .

Clearly, the analogy to Trump's own gangs of criminal fascist renegades (Proud Boys, Boogaloo Bois et al)   - vowing "death to Antifa",  for example-  cannot be missed. Exaggerations? Hardly!

In congressional testimony this year, Christopher Wray, the director of the F.B.I., warned of the dangers posed by white extremists. Take, for example, the largely unprintable postings on thedonaldwin — one of the more extreme right wing pro-Trump websites — on Dec. 11, the day the Supreme Court rejected 9 to 0 the Texas attorney general’s attempt to invalidate Biden’s victories in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Georgia. The pro-Trump participants used their anonymous internet pseudonyms to voice outrage that swiftly turned into extraordinary levels of frustration and rage at a Republican elite that they claimed had failed to protect their leader:

A poster with particular derangement wrote of the Supreme Court members who refused to hear Trump's case - aligned with the criminal Texas' AG Paxton: "I can’t wait to taste your blood".

Then another  crybaby loser nicknamed MakeLiberalsCryAgain put the case bluntly:

It’s INSANE. Many of these contested states have REPUBLICAN majorities in their legislatures. They had the power all along to stop this, and they haven’t done blankety blank. They held hearings to give the appearance of caring, but in the end, they all cucked out like the spineless, traitorous cowards they are. It looks like the uniparty is reality. What’s the point in voting when they’re all the same?

Even more explicit, another misfit ("dinosaurguy")  declared, “War it is,” later joined by AngliaMercia, “We kill now.” Then an imp by the handle "Chipitin"  warned: “Never forget those justices were handpicked by McConnell and the Federalist Society. They told him they’ll help him out picking the best — only to make sure they’ll pick those that will betray him. Time to go to war with the Republican Party.

As Jason Johnson observed on Last Word, such violent rhetoric against the court combined with recent events - including a break in in Portland and incendiary bomb going off - already marks the early stages of a coup.   All stoked by Trump and his treacherous asswits determined to keep power at all costs. Why aren't all these nuts locked up in psych wards with regular ECT?  But truly, there isn't enough space for all of them.  We are saddled with millions of brainwashed, brain-fucked baboons who drool over their master and want him to run the coup he's dreaming about now.    But as Johnson and Velshi pointed out, that still leaves the head of the snake instigating it all- so what will be done with 'it'?  Nothing?

Trump, feeling wronged himself and seeking to satiate their blood lust, is thus plotting sedition (along with Michael Flynn and Sidney Powell)  to try to get his way.  They have already held four meets in the past week, according to Maggie Haberman and Zolan Kanno - Youngs of the NY Times.  This cannot be allowed.  So if regular legislators and WH insiders and aides aren't prepared to stop him-  are too cowardly to ward him off the path of utter madness - then other more covert agents must do their patriotic duty for the good of the nation.

The most critical control aspect is to keep a wary eye on Trump and his seditious allies  as he continues to unravel over the next 30  days in office. This is given all the power of the government  still at his disposal, including nukes. One hopes there are not merely voices trying to check his more extreme actions and ideations - but actual authorities (including military) -  ready to take him down if he acts the least bit unhinged or power mad.  As Velshi noted, this is really how a coup looks and those with the actual power and agency to stop it (not weak-kneed WH aides) need to pay attention.

Bottom line: We have a literal madman occupying the seat of power and we better damned well know how and when to deal with his sorry orange ass if and when the time comes.  In the words of Chris Hayes: "Will we know when the break the glass moment arrives?"

I believe that break the glass moment has arrived.

For weeks now, Donald Trump's hopes of stealing the 2020 presidential election from the winner, Joe Biden, have been fading. Nonetheless, the dumbest and worst president in American history continued sending out fundraising appeals to his endlessly gullible supporters, giving birth to the theory — to which I, personally, subscribed — that Trump's coup is little more than another one of his many schemes to defraud people. After all, the Trump campaign spent very little on the actual legal efforts to challenge the election and redirected most of the cash into what is likely going to be used as a slush fund for Trump and his family.

And yet, as Maggie Haberman and Zolan Kanno-Youngs reported in the New York Times on Saturday, Trump is deep in talks with an increasingly unhinged cast of characters, all of whom believe there must be a way to steal the election even though the Electoral College made Biden's win official last week. The president invited conspiracy theorists like his former lawyer Sidney Powell and former national security advisor Gen. Michael Flynn to the White House on Friday to discuss a potential declaration of martial law as a last-ditch effort to force a second vote in some swing states. That suggestion came from the disgraced Flynn, who has been involved in violently oppressive work on behalf of Turkey's authoritarian leader, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The group also discussed "an executive order to take control of voting machines to examine them," though it's unclear what that would accomplish
