Incredibly, despite major efforts in the 2024 election to wake up white women to voting D, such as the mass voting campaign ('White Women For Harris') organized by Shannon Watts which raised over $11 million via super Zooms:
Basically they are all in with patriarchy and having authoritarian white men - whether Trump (or a barking hubby) leading them around by the nose. We know this is true given many polls have confirmed it, some even copping to the admission they 'will only vote as my husband does'. This, of course, was at the bottom of Kamala's campaign ad (The One Place in America Where Women Still Have a Right to Choose ) - featuring Julia Roberts - saying in a voiceover:
"In the one place in America where women still have a right to choose, you can vote any way you want and no one will ever know."
The 30 second spot featured a woman who arrives at a polling station with her husband who appears to be a Trump supporter. Before entering the voting booth she casts a knowing glance at another woman before smiling and casting her ballot for Kamala Harris.
Afterward, when hubby asks: "Did you make the right choice?" The woman proudly says: "Sure did, honey!" (The ad concluding with the tagline: 'What happens in the booth stays in the booth'.
Of course, in the aftermath the Rightist Trumpers and especially their 'MAGA white women' went ape shit. Trump himself, imbecile that he is, questioned why a wife would hide her vote from her husband. Turning Point Founder Charlie Kirk described it as "marital subversion". Suggesting any woman who'd betray her Trumper hubby would need to be brought back to the straight and narrow.
That elicits the question, who are these MAGA women who would be so docile as to yield their free will and choices to patriarchal, authoritarian bullies? Well, a goodly set appear to be "Trumpworld" glam girls who follow the makeup rules of the likes of Adrienne Gray:
The key trait is to establish an almost surreal template "repeated across the faces of Trumpworld women like a uniform."(WSJ, Aug. 26, 'She's Got The Right Stuff In Her MAGA Beauty Bag') In other words, turns millions into the modern version of the Stepford wives, based on the 1975 movie where the men of a quiet Connecticut town replace their independent wives with submissive, robotic replicas. Well, Gray's routine and that of other MAGA women comes close, given most plastic surgeons describe the aesthetic as displaying a "highly uniform, curated look".
How so?
- Liberal use of dermal fillers to create plump ('pillowy') lips and high cheeks
- Heavy use of Botox to create high foreheads.
- Baby doll false eyelashes to create 'high-drama eyes'
- All steps - and possible plastic surgery - guaranteed to end up with 'Mar-a-Lago face.
Thence, the women - like Karoline Leavitt, Bettina and Lara Trump - reach their acme in beauty standard for Trumpworld because, we are informed: "Conservative women love feeling beautiful!" Or perhaps more like Stepford wives to match their robotic submission to Dotard and their hubbies. Their basic role then is somewhat anodyne or tame - just show off a fake standard of beauty they believe will drive more young women to the Trumpworld side.
Then there are the sixty-eight percent of white women who identify as Christian, and in 2024, two-thirds of those — and more than eight in 10 white evangelical women — voted for Trump, while nearly eight in 10 white women with no religious affiliation voted for Vice President Kamala Harris.
Conventional wisdom suggests that opposition to abortion
drives Christian women to vote Republican, but even among white evangelical
women, the religious group most stalwartly opposed
to abortion, polling
shows that abortion ranks well below issues like the cost of living,
immigration and crime.
What was the pivotal event for white women to back the self-confessed pussy grabber? Easy. It was the attempted assassination of Dotard back in July, last year, complete with his raised fist, shouting 'Fight, Fight, Fight!"
All the white women could see was a 'superhero', one who would protect them against the 'radical leftists', Antifa, black & brown immigrants and the crazed abortionists. As the authors of the book Regime Change observed, Trump had seized the moment of his near assassination, taken advantage of it, and he'd work it for all it was worth to ensure re-election.
Elicited one WaPo commenter to write the next day:
"Let's not sugar-coat the black heart of a
fascist is still black just because a bullet grazed his ear."
Turns out the writer was correct. According to a New York
Times piece the following Sunday ('Trump Suggests No Laws Are Broken
If He' Saving Country'):
“Trump on Saturday posted on social media a single sentence
that appears to encapsulate his attitude as he tests the nation’s legal
and constitutional
boundaries in the process of upending the federal government and
punishing his perceived enemies.
He who saves his Country does not violate any Law,”
Mr. Trump wrote, first on his social media platform Truth Social, and then on
the website X. By late afternoon, Mr. Trump had pinned the statement to
the top of his Truth Social feed, making it clear it was not a passing thought
but one he wanted people to absorb."
Adding that Trump's survival of the attempt proved he had "divine backing" to enforce his will. And the white women gobbled it up. This despite Financial Times columnist Edward Luce pointing out in his column ('America is staring into an Abyss’) the day after the attempted assassination:
"No honest accounting of America’s fetid climate can ignore the fact that the former president himself is the country’s most influential exponent of political violence. "
No matter to the white women Reep voters, they were all in with the god man. They wanted the top thug to wield his violence against all the perceived threats: abortionists, immigrants (especially black or brown), atheists and leftists. This still leaves the question: Why run to a self-admitted pussy grabber for protection?
Recall, in a previous post (January 9, 2019), I
referenced the anomaly of a certain subgroup of white women gravitating
to Trump, even after his infamous Access Hollywood tape was exposed. In that
tape he openly bragged about "grabbing 'em by the pussy".

So why not these RC nuns at the Trump rally? Why would they - because
they wear a habit - be immune to this malady? My psychology post
doc niece Shayle has her own theory: "They've taken a vow of
chastity, and this is a slightly defiant way of getting a vicarious thrill by
being in proximity - in a public setting - to an admitted pussy grabber."

Another possibility - which I rather lean toward- is that these women
(including the two nuns) have become so inured to Dotard's crass behavior,
gaslighting and racist dog whistles in the past three years they've become like
Stockholm syndrome victims. Lance Morrow actually raised this as a conceivable
explanation for why the Dems way back in October, 2018 might not take back the
House (WSJ, Oct. 19, 'We've Grown Accustomed To Trump', p,
A19) writing:
"Familiarity and the passage of time may breed a certain kind of
acquiescence, even grudging acceptance. We see a touch of the Stockholm
syndrome.
My guess is that the variations on Stockholm syndrome will play a role in the
minds of independent voters in the 2018 midterms, producing a slightly
friendlier inclination toward Mr. Trump and anyway, toward Republicans."
Of course, Morrow's midterm projections didn't happen. Most independents saw
the insanity and disruption of Donnie Dotard and sided with millions of Dem voters
to generate what we now recognize as a true blue wave. Despite massive
gerrymandering in Reepo -governed states (like MI and WI), it succeeded in
taking back the House with the largest majority since the Nixon era.
Nonetheless, the Stockholm syndrome Morrow invokes may have played a role in
keeping too many right leaning white women in fealty to Trump.
But the two nuns? That requires deeper thought, in this case
viewing Trump as an ironic choice (by their deity) to protect the life of the
unborn. Or perhaps to halt the use of contraceptives by young women not
bound by chastity vows- in this case via Trump's denial of service exec
orders issued under the guise of "religious freedom".
So to these nuns, despite his crass, pussy grabbing bravado, Trump would appear
a kind of savior. I mean who can forget the psychotic words of wacko
televangelist Paula White at a Florida rally back in July, i.e.:
"Let every demonic network who has aligned itself against the purpose,
against the calling of Mr. Trump, let it be broken. Let it be torn down in the
name of Jesus! And I now declare that President Trump will overcome every
strategy from Hell and every strategy from the enemy!"
In that respect, these two nuns may well be on the same unhinged
wavelength as Paula White, and totally believe Trump is the bulwark against some
insidious evil, as opposed to being an embodiment of evil. I.e.

occurred to me looking at them that they may well feel totally content,
confident and morally justified sitting in that audience of moral dunces and

Despite knowing about his affair with Stormy Daniels, her beating his ass with
a book, and his pussy grabbing penchant, they've mutated into his
staunchest defenders. Indeed, they are uniquely brazen to the extent to which
they justify any means to favored ends. His evangelical Christian supporters,
for example, are willing not merely to excuse Trump’s adultery and deceit but
also to embrace them: The more vulgar he is, the more he fulfills
his supposedly divine
mission. You have lots of spineless weaklings giving him
"mulligans" in golf, but this boggles the mind: to be awarded
them in spades for serial morality transgressions. And lo and behold by a
bunch who profess to be holier than any other sect in the US of A. They "believe
on the Lord Jesus Christ", but don't you dare say a word against the
pussy- grabbin' Dotard!
In the same vein, it's evident these two nuns - smiling behind the 'Women for
Trump' sign - take to Trump for the same reason white evangelicals have.
That is, he is the ironic choice of their God to halt the downward spiral
of America, based on too many abortions and too much sex out of
wedlock (using gov't provided birth control).
Again I recall here how my sister-in -law Krimhilde (before she fell victim to
Alzheimer's) described these mental and moral misfits:
"They preach love and God's mercy to sinners, but their souls have
been degraded by hate. This hate is against all others unlike them,
whether immigrants, poor black people or gays, or atheists. So they
seek to remake their god hateful in their image. They also knew
they needed a strong darkness to cover and protect their own hateful
darkness so they used Trump to that end. They really have sold their
souls to purchase what they believe is spiritual security but is really selling
their souls and faith to a human devil."
Those two nuns would do well, when they return to their convent, to consider
those words carefully. As for The Evangelical white women hypocrites who worship the ground
Trump walks on, and who chose to elevate him to Christ level - enabling his reelection- they don't give
a crap how many pussies he grabs or porn stars he fucks. Just as Jim Jones'
female worshippers at Jonestown didn't care how many People's Temple women he
had sex with - even those with husbands.
As one 20 year old self- proclaimed Evangelical female
put it at the RNC:
“Trump may be a sinner, but his positions represent my
religious values. All I need to see is a speck of my faith represented!”
Well, how about a speck of brain power, girl? Or is that too much to ask?
