Benghazi Derangement Syndrome Strikes Again!

This question must be asked: Is there some Benghazi bot embedded in Republican brains that recycles every few months, triggering a monstrous electrical cascade in their amygdalas,  inducing screams of "BENGHAZI!!"    This occurred to me after the news came out yesterday that Darryl Issa plans to form a "special select committee" to further investigate....Benghazi!

According to one Issa tweet released yesterday, likely after the Benghazi bot seized control of his brain:

Today I announced a subpoena requiring Secretary Kerry to testify at a public @GOPoversight hearing on May 21. #Benghazi

Then later in the day, we were treated on the CBS Evening news to a South Carolina imp named Gomer Gowdy, yelping that the truth will out! Yessiree! "We will get to the bottom of Benghazi!" 

Issa’s subpoena is in response to the revelation of new emails sent by Obama administration officials in the hours following the attack in 2012. This, development is described by goofy Republicans as a “smoking gun” that proves the White House was misleading in its description of the causes of incident that led to four American deaths. The emails referred to 'talking points' for Susan Rice and implicated a vile video that was released days earlier, as being the real trigger.

During several cycles of "Benghazi madness" likely induced by the bots, the GOOPrs went ape shit and demanded answers. Well they finally arrived at the end of December last year when The New York Times released the results of its own extensive investigation. The Times report ('Deadly Mix In Benghazi, False Allies, Rude Video', December 29) based on multiple reliable sources, concluded the video WAS responsible, and incited anti-American rage but it wasn't Al Qaeda involved.

Rather, it was one of the militias with which the U.S. had made common cause to oust Libyan dictator Muammar el-Qaddafi.  In retrospect, this also shows the wisdom of the U.S. not compounding previous errors by making alliances with the Syrian rebels to take down Assad, see e.g.  http://brane-space.blogspot.com/2013/09/if-youre-agaist-radical-jihadists-you.html  I would also add that it discloses the wisdom of not making alliances with fascists and nationalists in the Ukraine - though it looks like that cow has already escaped the barn.

Anyway, as the Times piece stated:

"Months of investigation centered on extensive  interviews with Libyans in Benghazi who had direct knowledge of the attack there and its context, turned up no evidence that Al Qaeda or other international terrorist groups had any role in the assault.

The attack was led, instead, by fighters who had benefitted directly from NATO's extensive air power and logistics support during the uprising against Colonel Qaddafi. And contrary to claims by some members of Congress, it was fueled in part by anger at an American -made video denigrating Islam."

The piece went on to delve into the basis in much more detail while also noting the (usually) garrulous Issa "had no comment" and that the incident "shows the risks of expecting American aid in a time of desperation to buy durable loyalty and the difficulty of discerning friends from allies in convenience in a culture shaped by decades of anti-American sentiment."

Meanwhile, in the wake of the report, Benghazi bots evidently triggered rage in the brain of Peter King (R- NY) who flipped out at the NY Times editorial board,  calling them "apologists for terrorists".    It didn't matter that an exhaustive investigation had proven the video was responsible, /something I already concluded in an earlier (Sept. 14, 2012)  blog post ('Getting a Grip on Reality - The Fake Film And Muslim Outrage') Therein I noted:

"Now, as 11 Muslim nations – from the Sudan, to Egypt to Yemen, Pakistan, Iran and Indonesia go up in flames and riots, and 4 Americans have been left dead in Libya (Btw, NO Marines! But that specious speech cover does not apply to a film 'maker' who lies about his identity and especially the film title itself (in misrepresenting it and the film's featured characters to the actors), as well as the origins of the financial backers.

Did the Repukes ever accept this? No, they did not. They didn't accept it for the same reason most of them don't accept human caused global warming. Facts and reality are too painful for them, so they have to invent their own reasons.

With reality the casualty on Benghazi too, look for these goofballs to have no problem squandering tens of millions of your tax dollars on  a lengthy investigation that will go nowhere. Given it's all about politics, in this case trying to diminish Hillary's chances, they will likely stretch it all out until 2016.

Do the Repukes ever feel any shame regarding their insane actions and costly paranoia, as on Benghazi? How can they when bots are running their brains? Let us also recall Einstein's famous words defining insanity:

GOOPr Moron Mike Rogers Accuses Russians of Helping Snowden

Blovating asshole Mike Rogers - without a scintilla of evidence - has accused the Russians of aiding Edward Snowden to get NSA documents out.

The regressive mental nature of most GOOPrs is a thing to behold. Not only do these clowns militate against obvious global warming - even as the whole fucking world heats up around them with glaciers receding, ice caps melting etc. and the hottest recent years ever recorded, but new polls disclose an even higher proportion now reject evolution - which is a genuinely confirmed theory and hence hard fact.

But Reepo morons go far beyond rejecting evidence for two widely accepted scientific theories of our time. In the political sphere they actually make up reality as they go along, pulling whatever nonsense they can out of their fat asses to try to gain some sort of memetic traction.  Enter now GOP tool Mike Rogers, a Republican representative from Michigan, interviewed by NBC’s Meet the Press, who actually said Snowden was “a thief whom we believe had some help”.

No evidence, nothing. He just shoots from his yap - pulling opinions from his ass.  He went on to babble, like the inveterate idiot he is (like most GOOPs):

“I believe there's questions to be answered there! I don't think it was a gee-whiz luck event that he ended up in Moscow under the handling of the [Russian intelligence service] FSB.”

Whoa! Give that fool a bobble head of Dan Quayle! He does some hand waving with exotic initials and invokes "Russian Intelligence service" and he instantly knows he can get half the American populace, the lower IQ or "Densan" portion, to nod woody heads in agreement: "Uh, yeah Mike, that do make sense. The FSB! Fuckin' traitor thief Snowden!"

Rogers then added: “Let me just say this. I believe there’s a reason he ended up in the hands, the loving arms, of an FSB agent in Moscow. I don’t think that’s a coincidence.”

Oh no, it ain't coincidence, it's not even reality to Rogers....it's all opinion and belief. Woe betide us for thinking that truth, evidence and facts matter, at least if we're Goops. The JFK assassination? Well that was just the "coincidence" of  a lone commie nut being in the right place at the right time. But this? Oh, it's a full court conspiracy by the Russkies! Just "trust me" - according to Mikey!


Naturally, Rogers' comments were backed by another GOOP moron,  Michael McCaul (what's with all these 'Mikes' anyway?), chairman of the House committee on homeland security. Speaking from Moscow, the Texas (Tex-ASS)  Republican told ABC’s This Week:

“I believe he [Snowden] was cultivated by a foreign power to do what he did.”

You believe? Like you probably believe dinosaurs were taken aboard Noah's Ark? Or you "believe" the Sun causes global warming and not humans?  Or you "believe" Benghazi was due to a determined al Qaeda group as opposed to local Muslims outraged by a vile video? Belief doesn't cut it, maestro. And if you're overseeing Homeland Security on the basis of your beliefs, well all I can say is that Americans need to start worrying.

McCaul said he could not “definitively” say it was Russia that helped Snowden. Despite that, he had little problem disengaging mouth from brain and spouting the following codswallop:


“Hey, listen, I don't think … Mr Snowden woke up one day and had the wherewithal to do this all by himself. I think he was helped by others. Again, I can't give a definitive statement on that … but I've been given all the evidence, I know Mike Rogers has access to, you know, that I've seen that I don't think he was acting alone.”


Let's be clear Edward Snowden has consistently denied any involvement with foreign spying agencies and said he leaked the documents because he believed the NSA programs were against the best interests of the American people. (And indeed they are as I've abundantly made clear in two previous blog posts - before the last.)

As Snowden  told the Guardian  last year:

“I don't want to live in a society that does these sort of things,” 

Again, bear in mind that Mike Rogers never gave any supporting evidence for his claims, but suggested Snowden “used methods beyond his technical capabilities" and had help with his travel arrangements. In this sense, Rogers resembles a certain "brother" of the fundie persuasion who when he peeks into my blogs now and then (to get himself all worked up) believes the assorted math posts are "beyond my capabilities" and I must be "doing it from memory". 

The fact not processed by Rogers is that though Snowden lacks a college degree, he's one smart guy. Hell, he's probably of Mensa caliber (many Mensans lack college degrees). So the technical capabilities would not be beyond him in the context of his skill set. But never mind, because it boggles the hell out of Rogers' simpleton brain, he "must have had help".

Rogers, not content to reveal he's an imbecile, tries for idiot status instead:

“He was stealing information that had to do with how we operate overseas to collect information to keep Americans safe … and some of the things he did were beyond his technical capabilities,”

No, peckerhead! He was releasing information in accord with  Principle IV of the Nuremberg Laws to show Americans how their own government was running rough shod over their fourth amendment rights.  The "powers that be" (like you) hate the fact the constitutional crimes were exposed by Snowden and now you will have to find other ways to conceal your malfeasance.

Once again, only Reepo knuckle draggers will believe Rogers' and McCaul's  horse manure.

It's been over a year for the truth to finally emerge after all the hair-on-fire screeching over Benghazi by the Repukes last year before the general election.  To refresh people's memories, an attack occurred on the U.S. Embassy in Benghazi, Libya on Sept. 11, 2012 - costing the life of Ambassador Christopher J. Stephens. The disgusting Repukes then attempted to turn it into a 9/11 style Al Qaeda terror attack that caught Obama sleeping at the switch as well as Susan Rice. It cost Rice her job at State, and even put Hillary under intense scrutiny with hearings by the eternally outraged Re-punk,. Darryl Issa (CA).

Knowing that a vile anti-Muslim video had surfaced in the days before, I never bought any of this politically inspired bunkum.  Indeed, in my Sept. 14, 2012 blog post ('Getting a Grip on Reality - The Fake Film And Muslim Outrage') I noted:

All not true! Nakoula was no Jew but a member of the Egyptian Coptic Church. His wife’s Coptic Xtian relatives in Egypt funded this disreputable film.

What of the film itself? As the ABC Ross report notes, the actors-actresses said they were duped and had been told they were to appear in a flick called ‘Desert Warrior’. The scripts given them also were headed by this false title. Meanwhile, the names of the characters in the script were all fake, i.e. they were not the same as what "Bacile" would insert after production. (According to one actress interviewed, the names - of the actually intended characters, were dubbed in, post-production. Can anyone say FRAUD?)

For example in the actors' script the Prophet Mohammed was called “George”. Actress Cindy Garcia , interviewed by Ross, who made script-based (fictional) child molestation accusations against “George” (as she pointed out to Brian Ross) had no remote idea the references were to be later altered. For example, she wasn't aware that whenever she addressed the character "George" in her lines, the name would subsequently be changed (dubbed) to "Mohammed'. In other words, all the actors were lied to by this dirt bag Nakoula, who some rightists now wish to defend – even as he’s caused infernal havoc and bloodshed across the already unstable Middle East. And worse, as they seek to blame Obama for what this effing turd incited!

Let's get this straight once and for all: Any movie made under "bait and switch" false pretenses, to the extent the partaking actors are lied to concerning the film content, characters, is NO work of cinematic art but a TERRORIST act - especially when it incepts the violent reactions it did!"

This provides the cautionary lesson for the U.S. not to meddle in Middle East affairs or states - whether by indirect interjection (via NATO air attacks and supplying rebels, as in Libya) or direct, as was contemplated months ago when the thought of using Syrian rebels to attack Hafez Assad was bruited in tandem with a cruise missile assault.  It also provides another domestic political lesson, of ignoring political grandstanding by known demagogues such as Darryl Issa, Peter King (R, NY), Lindsey Graham, and their assorted clones.

Will we learn from this? Only time will tell.

As the President later commented, the guy has a tendency to shoot before he aims and ask questions later. Should this lying rat fucker be defended? Does he have the right to “free speech” under the Constitution? NO!! You have NO right to scream “Fire!” in a crowded theater if there is no real fire, which is what this film amounted to. Look:

1) It was not an honest representation but based on LIES! The actors were lied to about their roles, the characters were not truthfully represented (names different from those later inserted), and the script title was misrepresented – all to lure people into contributing to an anti-Islamic piece of hateful propaganda.

2) The guy himself is a dishonest, disreputable punk, a two time felon as Ross’ report disclosed. He didn’t even have the courage to own up to the film’s own Egyptian Coptic funding but blamed the JEWS! This was tantamount to not only screaming ‘FIRE!’ in a crowded theater but claiming the fake fire was started using an accelerator. (Causing people to stampede more furiously.)

This piece of ambulatory human refuse, by his obscene, lying effort, has created major mayhem and instability across most of the Muslim world, and there is no end in sight.

The Right Wing Whackos, rather than piling on Obama, would do better to re-direct their ire and neurons (the remaining rational ones) to the scumball dirtbag degenerate who started it all, using a “film” based on lies, and lying to the actors to lure them into unknowingly blaspheming one of the major religions of the world and its founder.

Doesn’t their own bible tell them that Satan is “The Father of Lies”? Well, look no further than this über Liar Nakoula for the strife now erupting in the Middle East!

Obama had nothing to do with this strife, and his response is what any sane person would expect. There was no reason - based on key information available - to have any more military or guard presence at the Benghazi Embassy than what existed. (After all, the U.S. had only recently helped liberate the Libyans from Gaddafi in May). Especially in a time of exploding deficits, as we're reminded by Peter G. Peterson. The only thing that remains to be done, in my opinion, is to deport the refuse that incited all this strife back to Egypt. Let him then do all his splainin' there!
