Make Trump Sit A Mensa Entrance Test -Then We'll See What A "Stable Genius" He Is

"Doh! I'm a very stable genius!  So I don't believe that stupid book! And I'll even take the Mensa test to prove it!"


The soon to be released book by Trump niece, Mary Trump ('Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man') ,  includes some real blockbuster revelations, many of which haven't appeared in earlier  Trump expose books  such as: 'Fire and Fury', by Michael Wolff,  'FEAR: Trump In The White House', by Bob Woodward,  'A Warning' by Anonymous, and 'The Room Where It Happened' by John Bolton.

Of particular interest to me was Trump having to hire a substitute kid (a Joe Shapiro) to sit the SAT for him.   This was necessary because as a HS kid Trump had visions of "the best school in the world" and that was UPenn's Wharton School of Business. Trouble was, his less than stellar academic grades (according to Mary Trump) would not have enabled him entry on their own merits.  

The high score  (over 1400) the chosen proxy earned, assured Trump of an acceptance he'd otherwise never have had.   In the wake of the release of the book to journalists, some have debated whether the account is true.  But I have no doubt it is, first because I trust Mary Trump's word - and certainly over anything Trump or his retinue of liars says. And secondly because it fits in with his abysmal character traits as a narcissistic, compulsory cheat (who even cheats at games like golf) and a general moral reprobate.  A reprobate with no moral compass, period.  So why wouldn't he cheat?  It makes perfect, logical sense, especially for a crook and traitor who's already racked up over 5,000 lies. Oh, and sought sundry ways to enlist the help of other nations (like Ukraine, Russia) to help him win re-election.

Cheating by hiring a proxy to sit the SAT for him? A no brainer.  Here  are also some other explosive reveals about the maggot fouling the highest office:

1) Trump’s niece revealed how she leaked hordes of confidential Trump family financial documents to the New York Times in an effort to expose her uncle, whom she portrays as a dangerous sociopath,” This, according to Rachel Maddow's reporting on the book last night.  Maddow also reported that when  NY Times reporter Susanne Craig showed up at her door, Mary Trump “initially turned Craig away, telling her that she didn’t talk to reporters.” But she reconsidered,  especially after seeing how her uncle was "shredding every norm" and being enabled at every step.  So she decided to work with the Times, which directed her to the likely venue for Trump's tax records, and she hauled out 19 boxes worth.  from the law firm, Farrell Fritz,” Swan notes.

2) Trump’s world view was shaped by a desire to avoid his father’s disapproval. Here, Mary Trump paints a damning picture of Fred Trump, Sr., saying that he came to envy his son’s “confidence and brazenness.”   In the Washington Post, reporters Shane Harris and Michael Kranish explain that Donald Trump’s “view of the world was shaped by his desire during childhood to avoid his father’s disapproval, according to the niece, Mary L. Trump.”

Trump still claims,  despite his obvious mental -cognitive infirmities,  that he's a stable genius.  Well, let's see how he does on the Mensa entrance test, for which he will not be able to hire a substitute to try to gain admittance.  Of course, Mensa entry, i.e.  at the upper 2%  of IQ level, or roughly 132 on the Stanford -Binet scale, is "gifted" - but not genius.  That  level is at least 15 points higher.   

In any case, given Trump's severe mental deficiencies,  it is as likely he'd make either cut  (gifted or genius) as it is he sat that SAT himself ca. 1964.

Why The CIA's Best Really Have Little Use For "Mogul" - aka Trump

"Trump's claims of 'no collusion' are hogwash. Watching John Bolton's recent interviews with Martha Radditz and Nora O'Donnell, where he refers to Trump as "a threat to the Republic"- I had to wonder which cave he just crawled out from . I mean, good grief, that's been known at least since 2017 with Yale psychiatrist Bandy X. Lee's terminal takedown of this walking refuse in her book, 'The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump'.   Therein she refers to him as:

 "A disruptive personality and a peril to our collective security each day he remains in office. "    

 That has proven prescient as we've beheld his subversive and even traitorous behavior ever since, including:  his siding with  top former KGB chief Putin on numerous fronts (against his own intel agencies), getting Barr in as his personal AG to work from the inside to take down the Mueller investigators and release co-conspirators (e.g. Roger Stone, Michael Flynn),  trying to use foreign powers to take down his political opponents,  like Joe Biden, and incessantly smearing and disparaging his own intelligence chiefs as well as their briefings.  None of this behavior can remotely be regarded as normal for a U.S. president - but it certainly is normal for a Manchurian candidate or enemy mole - catapulted into power with assistance from Russian assets and influence, i.e. in the 2016 election.


Tony Schwarz,  the ghost writer who wrote  'The Art of the Deal' for him, had this to say (p. 73, ibid.):

"His amygdala is repeatedly triggered...and his prefrontal cortex - the part of the brain that makes us capable of rationality and reflection - shuts down. He reacts rather than reflects - and damn the consequences.  This is what makes his access to the nuclear codes so dangerous and frightening."

This is not exaggeration and who can forget the infamous Helsinki meet with Putin where Trump agreed with him that U.S. agents and assets could rightfully be sent to Moscow for interrogation by the GRU, if the U.S. were to question Russian assets here.  Prompting this accurate depiction:

Max Boot, writing in the July 25, 2018 WaPo also noted:

Trump is willing, under duress, to briefly and begrudgingly admit that Russian “meddling” took place in 2016 before reverting to calling it a “big hoax.” But he always maintains that the plot against America had no impact; he describes it as a “Democrat excuse for losing the ’16 Election.”

Here is the intelligence community’s assessment, partially declassified in January 2017: “We did not make an assessment of the impact that Russian activities had on the outcome of the 2016 election. The US Intelligence Community is charged with monitoring and assessing the intentions, capabilities, and actions of foreign actors; it does not analyze US political processes or US public opinion.” When then-CIA Director Mike Pompeo claimed last fall that “the intelligence community's assessment is that the Russian meddling that took place did not affect the outcome of the election,” his own agency rebuked him.

This brings us to today, and there is no question Trump is a walking, disruptive debacle and massive national security threat.  As I pulled out an extensive Denver Post piece from May 24 I was reminded why this mutt ("Mogul" is his Secret Service monicker) can't possibly be held in very high regard by the CIA.  Below are some of the things they've learned about him since - bearing in mind all his other transgressions with Putin, Kim Jong Un and others, as well as his traitorous lackeys like Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort et al.

- By the time of the Jan. 23 intelligence briefing, officials were already alarmed by the signs of a crisis in China where the virus first broke. But Trump balked at further measures - other than a travel ban - and the U.S. "lost its chance to more effectively mitigate the virus in the following weeks."

- Agency mainstays found Trump was "particularly difficult to brief on critical national security matters".  He lacked the interest or the attention span, as Bolton also noted in his interviews (Trump barely read one briefing per week and that had to be cartoon-ized). 

-  Repeatedly during the most critical briefings, such as after N. Korea missile tests, Trump would "veer off on tangents and getting him back on topic proved extremely difficult".  In addition, in the midst of critical agency points Trump "was unashamed to interrupt intel officers".  Instead he would "riff about gossip he heard from former casino magnate Steve Wynn, retired golfer Gary Player, or Christopher Ruddy, the conservative media executive."

- Agency officials found that Trump "rarely absorbed information that he disagreed with, or that ran counter to his world view."  Hence putting his ignorance and stupidity above the national security interest.  As one official put it:  "Briefing him was so great a challenge compared with his predecessors that the intelligence agencies had to hire outside consultants to study how better to present information to him."   (Many suggested cartoons, but that wasn't on and no one seriously considered it.  There was a limit to how low the information conveyance mechanism could be.)

- "Working to keep Trump's interest exhausted and burned out his first briefer, Ted Gistaro.  Gistaro didn't always know what to expect and would sometimes be forced to brief an erratic and angry president upset over news reports."

- Some Agency mainstays and vets believe "Mogul" is beyond redemption - a lost cause.   They recall and cite his "yearslong attack on the intelligence agencies" and in particular how he "publicly belittled his intelligence chiefs last year after a congressional hearing where they offered assessments at odds with the White House.".  "Mogul" was so infuriated at the evident contradiction that he roared the intel chiefs "should all go back to school". 

- During typical 30-50 minute briefings Mogul's most commonly used diversion was to ask the intel officials: "How do you know?"    At each point,  despite the extensive background info (which Trump never read) he chose to counter with his own deformed and erratic statistics.  Trying to steer him toward the proper and tested stats was akin to trying to teach a brain defective monkey to eat a proper banana instead of one full of fungus.    Worse, "any time the intel chiefs directly challenged Mogul and his bogus stats eroded his trust further and he stopped listening".

What we have here is a cumulative assay of betrayal, incompetence and wreckage on a national scale and driven by the putative "leader" of the nation. A mentally deranged buffoon and plausible puppet for an enemy state who - as Bolton noted in his book and interviews - consistently puts himself at the center of action, decision and response - never the nation.  In this sense he has betrayed his oath to the Constitution and is little more than a traitor, irrespective of his clownish reactions to intelligence briefings - which themselves show he needs to resign forthwith.  As WSJ columnist Peggy Noonan wrote in her recent (June 6-7, p. A13) piece:

"This will not end well. With his timing he'd know it. He should give an Oval Office address announcing he's leaving: 'America, you don't deserve me'. "


Joseph Maguire, former acting director of national intelligence (according to the Post piece) "told briefers they need to understand Trump honed his style on reality television".

Maybe. But even a nominally sane and intelligent person - especially one who had been elected president- should grasp that nuclear codes, warheads, cruise missiles and dealing with monster hurricanes and pandemics are not the fluff of reality TV.  Hence, the sane and intelligent person adapts to the new situation, especially given he took a freaking oath to defend the people and the country - from all enemies foreign and domestic. That 'Mogul"  hasn't processed that and needs people like Maguire to make excuses for him, shows how unfit he is to lead this nation.    This is especially given (ibid.):


"The briefer - always a top CIA analyst- delivers the latest secrets and best insights from the 17 intelligence agencies - and are based on the President's Daily Brief - the crown jewel of intelligence reports."

Can we now say these top class briefings- delivered to "Mogul"  - are the equivalent of casting precious pearls before an ornery swine? Yes, I believe we can. And a traitor to boot.  After more than 11 major takes (in assorted books) on "Mogul" as an unfit, reckless, willing pawn for our domestic enemies - no more is needed.  

We don't need another repeat of Bolton's (or Comey's, or Bandy X.Lee's, or Bob Woodward's, or 'ANONYMOUS et al) books to re-confirm what we already know:  the bloated, orange maggot is a threat to this nation and needs to be removed from office ASAP.   As Janice put it: "He shouldn't even get an extra two and a half months to wreak havoc after the November 3rd general election."

Indeed, we really need him gone now, but can only hope our democratic system (especially preserving the integrity of the vote) has sufficient resilience to withstand his coming attacks until November!

Yes- If Repuke Senators Ignore Bolton's Revelations & Acquit Trump They Are Guilty Of Treason Too

Barely hours before former national security adviser  John Bolton released blockbuster contents on Trump's quid pro quo vis -a -vis the Ukraine (in his soon to be published book) the orange maggot traitor tweeted this about Adam Schiff Sunday:

"Shifty Adam Schiff is a CORRUPT POLITICIAN and probably a very sick man. He has not paid the price yet for what he has done to our country!"

Schiff, appearing on 'Meet the Press' Sunday correctly interpreted this as a threat.  Of course,  given Trump consistently projects his own vile attributes onto others (mainly critics, Dems)  his tweet must be reversed to read  i.e. 

"I, Donald Trump am a CORRUPT POLITICIAN (and TRAITOR!) and am a very sick man.  I have also not yet paid the price for what I have done and am doing to this country!"

But will this human vermin pay? As the Senate trial winds on, in the midst of the criminal resident bragging openly about obstruction, e.g.

There is more than ample evidence to hold this swine to account, and even hang him as the traitor he is, especially after Bolton's revelations, namely that Trump wanted to continue freezing nearly $400 million in military aid to Ukraine until it helped to investigate the Bidens.

This directly contradicts what the Traitor's defense team has been arguing, i.e. that "there is no connection between security assistance and investigations."    They peddled this bunkum yesterday along with the Kremlin -generated codswallop (by Trump stooge Pam Bondi) that Ukraine was the real culprit in 2016, in conjunction with Burisma & the Bidens.  Then there was the addle-pated Alan Dershowitz again repeating the canard that impeachment required an actual violation of a federal criminal statute. (Never mind none were even written at the time the Founders inserted the impeachment clause).

   But now, with John Bolton's material ("like a grenade exploding" according to one pundit)  Trump and his team of liars...errr, lawyers,  are boxed into a corner.   (Trump of course denies he told Bolton anything about withholding aid, but we already know this orange Orang lies like he breathes.)  At the very least, Bolton's ms. confirms all we've seen and heard from earlier House inquiry witnesses, like Fiona Hill and Gordon Sondland.  That means the decision of whether to allow Bolton as a witness puts the Repuke Senators on trial along with the traitor.    Got nothing to hide? Then demand Bolton appear as a witness! 

If they refuse to allow Bolton to appear as a witness - at least - far less remove their criminal traitor Overlord,  then yes, they are also traitors. They can be nothing less. Especially in the guise of Trump's derelict lawyers now accusing Democrats of "trying to overturn the 2016 election" - echoing the orange pestilence himself.

Of course, today's  WSJ editorial ('John Bolton's Report', p. A16) insists the Bolton revelation being a "bombshell" is mere "media hype."  Also, if Trump did do it there's still no impeachable offense given "Ukraine never opened an investigation and the U.S.  aid was delivered on time."  Failing to grasp, as usual, that an attempted crime is still a crime.  If Mr. X attempts to embezzle $1m from his company then changes his mind midway through, he's still committed a crime and can be locked up for years.   So the WSJ's "arguments" - like those of Trump's stooge lawyers- amount to balderdash and bare bollocks.



Here's the bottom line: If their guy has nothing to hide, and they themselves want the full evidence they've been claiming the House Dems didn't provide- they have no choice other than to call Bolton to testify.  If they do not, they are in the same cover up, stone wall and obstruction mode as their master.

 One must then ask, if these Trump cultists punt,  if the 'Grand Old Party'  has transitioned from hyper -partisanship to treason.  A recent Baltimore Sun article  ('When Does Ordinary Republican Partisanship Become Treason' by John Stoehr), argues this has been done, e.g.

Let's go through Stoehr's essay and assess how close he is to the truth in his assertion. He writes:

"It bears repeating: Donald Trump was not only press-ganging Volodymyr Zelensky in an illegal scheme for partisan gain. He was rewriting the history of 2016 in order to wound enemies (Democrats) and help friends (Vladimir Putin) — as well as to give Kremlin operatives room to strike again. It is in no way overstating the case to say the president of the United States is the head of an international conspiracy to defraud the American people. "

There should be no issue on this, period. We have the evidence, the documents and Trump himself threatening  and even bragging about his alliance with Putin in a criminal conspiracy. 

If anyone is into valid conspiracies (like the one behind the JFK assassination)  this is indeed the one to accept because it is closest to the truth of all the ones out there right now.  We know  the Trump team had  more than 100 meetings - that we know of -  with Russians, including GRU intelligence agents.  Specifically in "Trump and His Associates Had More Than 100 Contacts With Russians Before the Inauguration,"   The NY Times tracked down "more than 100 in-person meetings, phone calls, text messages, emails and private messages on Twitter," all made by "at least 17 campaign officials and advisers [who] had contacts with Russian nationals and WikiLeaks, or their intermediaries."

Robert Mueller not only defined a conspiracy in the case of an indictment filed against 12 GRU agents in 2018, but made it public, E.g.

Mueller  also - if you read part one of his report-  made it clear Trump was involved in this  conspiracy.  As Harvard Law Professor Lawrence Tribe elegantly summed up earlier this year ('Last Word' with Lawrence O'Donnell):

"What we have here is a situation where the Mueller report shows without any doubt that a hostile foreign power attacked the United States in this (2016) election.  That Donald Trump welcomed that attack, benefited from it and then - the last couple of years - tried to cover it up every possible way. "

Text messages, phone records, foreign intercepts, emails  - other documentation of the meetings, e.g. of Carter Page-   point to clear conspiracy with the Russkies to alter  the 2016 election. 

Even more explicit is the take from Mimi Rocah, former federal prosecutor, appearing January 25th last year on 'All In':

"There's just so many facts in this indictment about the coordination of the Trump campaign with Wikileaks, through Roger Stone. Remember that GRU indictment - if you go back to that- one of the objects of the conspiracy is not just hacking but hacking and disseminating.  You can't look at them alone, you have to go back to everything we know, the Trump Tower meeting, the calling out by Trump to Russia (to grab Hillary's emails)...there's just so many other things."

A de facto conspiracy by any other name. Then there are Traitor Trump's own words to hang him,  e.g.

"I will tell you this, Russia if you're listening, I hope that you're able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing. You will probably be rewarded mightily by our press. Let's see if that happens."

The very next day the Russkies hacked the DNC - and the traitor 'Pukes have the nerve to try to lay the 2016 election interference on the Ukraine.  Worse, to invoke the Ukraine- Crowdstrike- Burisma nonsense to try to deflect attention and get Trump acquitted.

 Stoehr again:

"It has remained to be seen how far the Republican Party is willing to go in defense of Mr. Trump’s conspiracy. But now, as the impeachment process enters a new and dangerous phase, we are seeing new GOP behavior, though we have witnessed plenty of hints. One reporter wrote recently that Republicans decided the best way to defend the president is to embrace “the claim" of Ukrainian interference in the 2016 election. Let’s be clear. 

There was no Ukrainian interference. That’s according to the special counsel’s report, which cited one and a half dozen national security agencies. That’s according to the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee report. That’s according to every career official in the State Department who testified under oath last month.The idea that Ukraine, not Russia, attacked the U.S. originated in the Kremlin."

Indeed, this specious - already debunked narrative -  claiming it was Ukrainians who meddled in the 2016 election instead of the Russians- was  totally refuted by Dr. Fiona Hill in her House Impeachment hearings appearance, e.g.

In her own words, from my Nov. 22nd post:

"This is a fictional narrative that has been perpetrated and propagated by the Russian security services themselves.”


Further, an intel report released the next day (and issued to the Republicans as well ) noted the Ukraine - CrowdStrike BS was being peddled by Putin and the Russians to frame Ukraine.  But the Reptiles have continued to invoke it because they are traitors first and sowers of  propaganda and lies second.  Fifth columnists who consistently place party and obeisance to Trump,  over country. Recall also Traitor Trump's lies at the time,  issued in a tweet, e.g.

"The F.B.I. went in, and they told them, ‘Get out of here, we’re not giving it to you,’ They gave the server to CrowdStrike, or whatever it is called, which is a company owned by a very wealthy Ukrainian. I still want to see that server.”

Hell, even Brian Kilmeade and Steve Doocey (two of the FOX 'n Friends trio) had their mouths agape. Kilmeade - once he caught his breath - even had the sense to ask the Traitor- in -chief for his sources.  All he could do was bark 50 more minutes of lies. 

Mr. Stoehr again:

"The idea that the Democrats, not Mr. Trump’s campaign staffers, conspired with foreign operatives is more than “conspiracy theory.” It is a fascist ploy to turn lies into truth. This is why I said recently that Mr. Trump’s crime is so much worse than abuse of power. It’s treason. And the Republicans, like lemmings, are heading for a cliff. "

Indeed, these rats are headed over a cliff, and with a huge grenade (the Bolton disclosures) in their sorry paws as well.  Set to blow up just as they vote to acquit Herr Hitler Jr.  And as I noted earlier it was  the Trump team that had  more than 100 meetings with GRU agents. It is the Reepo-Trump alliance who are the traitors and attempting to overthrow the nation's founding principles and Constitution and replace them with a hostile, alien authoritarian fascist stamp.   Once more we learn from Mr. Stoehr:

"It’s quite another thing, however, to know what you’re doing is wrong and do it anyway. The Republicans can’t not know. First, because intelligence officials briefed Senate Republicans, telling them explicitly the Ukraine-attacked-us story is pure Putin disinformation. Second, because Fiona Hill, a former member of the White House National Security Council, and a Russia authority, was clear about what House Republicans were already doing. She said: 

“In the course of this investigation, I would ask that you please not promote politically driven falsehoods that so clearly advance Russian interests. I refuse to be part of an effort to legitimize an alternate narrative that the Ukrainian government is a U.S. adversary, and that Ukraine — not Russia — attacked us in 2016.”

 Again, repeating what I wrote earlier in regard to Dr. Hill's House testimony.  And now the coup de grace:

"And now we have another reason why the Republicans can’t not know they are participating in a conspiracy to defraud the American people. Rudy Giuliani, who is not regarded for his discretion, confessed to knowing the Ukraine-attacked-us story was bunk. Not only that, the president’s personal attorney actually said he decided to pursue “evidence” of Ukraine’s attack in order to undercut Robert Mueller’s report.

Is that where the Republicans want to go? Well, yes, if Tucker Carlson is any indication. The Fox News host is on the bleeding edge of attempts by Trump partisans to expand what the American people think is acceptable behavior. On his show recently he said: “I’m totally opposed to these [US] sanctions [on Russia] and I don’t think we should be at war with Russia and I think we should take the side of Russia if we have to choose between Russia and Ukraine.” He went on to say the Democrats hate America more than Vladimir Putin does.   At some point, we must face what it means for Republicans to know the truth but to advance Kremlin lies anyway, even when doing so slowly burns down the republic.

At some point soon, we must stop calling them dupes, and start calling them the enemy."

So by carrying water for the already discredited GRU, Putin and their conspiracy codswallop - like the Senate Reeps plan to do (unless they prove otherwise) -   we can declare  they are indeed the enemy.  Worse, all these misfits who swore to protect and defend the Constitution against "all enemies foreign and domestic"  are de facto traitors. 
   
They are openly using debunked material from a hostile foreign security service to undermine our Republic and indeed to destroy it. Thus, each specious argument made by Trump's lawyers to protect him  - and the Republican party - amounts to one more nail in their treasonous coffins.  The people,  representing the court of final appeal (guided by the Constitution) - will make their final verdict known in November.  Unlike the GOP's cowardly Senators they will oust all these Reepo snakes:  from the presidency, and the Senate.  Giving us a chance to disinfect both from the pestilence that's nearly destroyed them - and our nation.

Surprise, Mr. President. John Bolton Has the Goods

Post 9 / 11, Donald J. Trump Is The Biggest National Security Threat

"And I'm gonna put a single megaton nuke right into the next hurricane's eye! No deal making!"

Yes, it sounds incredible to say or write, but for anyone who has documented the history of the past 27 months there is little doubt the alleged "President" we have is our biggest national security threat. Arguably bigger than al Qaeda, Isis and all the Islamic radicals you can think of rolled into one. Preposterous you say?  Then you've allowed Trump and his endless antics to burn out your memory coils.  Just go back through the months and think about it.

Only recently he's released classified satellite photos of military intelligence never intended for open disclosure. See e.g.

As the preceding piece notes:

"President Donald Trump tweeted out an image on Friday from a classified briefing to taunt Iran, and analysts suspect the photo came from one of the US's most advanced satellites. Specifically the photo is believed to have come from a U.S. KH- 11 spy satellite called USA 224."

As anyone with a grain of sense knows, these spy satellites are called that for a reason. That is, that the material they collect is not intended for public dissemination where enemies can use it to infer the satellites' capabilities - even in a limited way.  And here we have our illustrious Commander-in chief, (Captain Bonespurs) giving away the candy store.   Now it is true, the image was made publicly available ex post facto - but the photo in Dotard's tweet was of a much higher resolution (showing the power of the satellite's optics) "leaving experts flabbergasted".

Is is any wonder that even LAST year at this time:

"Ten percent of Americans said President Trump is a bigger threat to the U.S. than a terrorist attack, according to a new Hill.TV poll.

The American Barometer survey, conducted by Hill.TV and the HarrisX polling company, found that 10 percent of respondents specified Trump was the biggest threat to America"

Still skeptical? Consider what has transpired in the interim. Not only has this demented fool misdirected people in Alabama about the  Hurricane  Dorian threat - a felony in itself- 

He also ruminated on deploying nuclear weapons against hurricanes.  Ordinarily we'd never have known about this except his outgoing National Security head,  John Bolton,  leaked it -"stirring Trump's fury" according to a segment on CBS this morning.   Thanks to Bolton, no fan of mine for sure - but likely credible here- we now know we have a dyspeptic lunatic sitting close to the nuclear football and ready to use it at a moment's notice. Like he vowed two years ago, to bring "fire and fury" against Kim Jong Un, barking at the time: "North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States, They will be met with fire and the fury like the world has never seen.”.


Oh wait! That was before he "fell in love" with Kim, in an effort to broker a fake nuclear deal he thought would put him up for a Nobel Peace Prize.  Then staging a 'meet and greet' with him after walking across to North Korea, and sitting down happily with the most bloodthirsty butcher on the planet, e.g.
Meanwhile, Kim has since launched multiple shorter range missiles in defiance of the U.S. and hasn't done squat to remove any of his missile sites.  

After indulging this brutal,  mass- murdering dictator,  as he elevated him to world statesman status-  Trump then had the temerity to take over the 4th with his own grandstanding. 

For many of us this amounted to unwillingly conferring  undeserved benediction on his every action and word.  From honoring the most brutal regime in the world (even as he has hobnobbed with other tyrants), to validating his caging and maltreatment of migrant kids to pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal, thereby adding another level of geo-political instability to an already precarious global  equilibrium.


This man, in other words, is a national security nightmare, and he's sitting in the most powerful position on planet Earth.  Want to know what I am most terrified about? It's not another 9/11 style terror attack from Al Qaeda or Isis, but a Trump-spawned nuclear war, launched by a poseur narcissist swine who'd sacrifice millions for the appeasement of his own ego.  Just to try to prove a misbegotten point or how "right" he is.  Don't believe it? Look how long he's protracted the Sharpie gate incident!

Even if we somehow manage to survive Trump's remaining time in office (assuming he fails to be re-elected) he will have sown the seeds for a climate change apocalypse   by imposition of his current executive orders.  What do I mean by climate apocalypse?  

Powerful hurricanes. Record-breaking heatwaves. Droughts that bring ruin to farmers. Raging forest fires. The mass die-off of the world's coral reefs. Food scarcity.  Millions of climate refugees poring across borders seeking security, respite, or even just drinkable water.  To avoid this,  carbon dioxide emissions need to fall by as much as 45% from 2010 levels by 2030,  according to the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.   

And what has terrorist Trump planned?  Well, he's already got his EPA ready to weaken methane emission  (leakage) rules, e.g.

As I noted in that blog post:

"The EPA conceded with its proposal...  that easing the rule for methane leaks would put as ,much as 380,000 additional tons of methane into the atmosphere from 2019 to 2025. This added amount would be equivalent to 30 million tons of  CO2 - given methane's much higher forcing factor."  

Meanwhile, the Trump cabal of eco-terrorists has planned as many as 177 new natural gas power plants to add to the 2,000 already churning out climate wrecking effluent.  In the words of Michael Brune, president of the Sierra Club:

"All that natural gas is a ticking time bomb for our planet. If we are to prevent runaway climate change, these new plants can’t be built."

Trump, then,  the unstable authoritarian narcissist - not some vague band of "Islamic terrorists" - is for me the source of any future terror.  He is totally unqualified to sit in the most powerful office in the world, and he has undermined or removed whatever adults might have constrained him. Or directed him toward judicious policies and actions. 

So long as this traitor and terrorist sits in the Oval Office we all sit on a veritable powder keg ready to go off.  Not only can we not believe any of his "official" statements  - given he lies with each breath- but we cannot trust any of his actions.  He does not have the nation's security or interest at heart, only his own self-aggrandizement and enrichment at our expense.

All we can do now is hope we make it the 2020 election in one piece.

Update (9/12) on Trump's assault on our water (from NY Times):

"The Trump administration on Thursday announced the repeal of a major Obama-era clean water regulation that had placed limits on polluting chemicals that could be used near streams, wetlands and other bodies of water.

The rollback of the 2015 measure, known as the Waters of the United States rule, adds to a lengthy list of environmental rules that the administration has worked to weaken or undo over the past two and a half years.

Those efforts have focused heavily on eliminating restrictions on fossil fuel pollution, including coal-fired power plants, automobile tailpipes and methane emissions, but have also touched on asbestos and chemical hazards like pesticides.

An immediate effect of the clean water repeal is that polluters will no longer need a permit to discharge potentially harmful substances into many streams and wetlands."

When the cancer deaths start piling up and add to many more than the 3,000 killed in the Towers on 9/11, it will become even more patently obvious what a terrorist we have in our midst - operating in the seat of power to destroy our lives.
