Why The CIA's Best Really Have Little Use For "Mogul" - aka Trump

Central Intelligence Agency Hat or Lapel Pin

"Trump's claims of 'no collusion' are hogwash. Trump  clearly has become  more desperate to protect himself and those close to him which is why he made the politically motivated decision to revoke my security clearance....I've seen this type of behavior on the part of foreign tyrants and despots. I just never ever thought I'd see it in the United States. " Former CIA Director  John Brennan,  Aug. 14, 2018 on 'All In'

Watching John Bolton's recent interviews with Martha Radditz and Nora O'Donnell, where he refers to Trump as "a threat to the Republic"- I had to wonder which cave he just crawled out from . I mean, good grief, that's been known at least since 2017 with Yale psychiatrist Bandy X. Lee's terminal takedown of this walking refuse in her book, 'The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump'.   Therein she refers to him as:

"A disruptive personality and a peril to our collective security each day he remains in office. "

That has proven prescient as we've beheld his subversive and even traitorous behavior ever since, including:  his siding with  top former KGB chief Putin on numerous fronts (against his own intel agencies), getting Barr in as his personal AG to work from the inside to take down the Mueller investigators and release co-conspirators (e.g. Roger Stone, Michael Flynn),  trying to use foreign powers to take down his political opponents,  like Joe Biden, and incessantly smearing and disparaging his own intelligence chiefs as well as their briefings.  None of this behavior can remotely be regarded as normal for a U.S. president - but it certainly is normal for a Manchurian candidate or enemy mole - catapulted into power with assistance from Russian assets and influence, i.e. in the 2016 election.

Tony Schwarz,  the ghost writer who wrote  'The Art of the Deal' for him, had this to say (p. 73, ibid.):

"His amygdala is repeatedly triggered...and his prefrontal cortex - the part of the brain that makes us capable of rationality and reflection - shuts down. He reacts rather than reflects - and damn the consequences.  This is what makes his access to the nuclear codes so dangerous and frightening."

This is not exaggeration and who can forget the infamous Helsinki meet with Putin where Trump agreed with him that U.S. agents and assets could rightfully be sent to Moscow for interrogation by the GRU, if the U.S. were to question Russian assets here.  Prompting this accurate depiction:

Max Boot, writing in the July 25, 2018 WaPo also noted:

Trump is willing, under duress, to briefly and begrudgingly admit that Russian “meddling” took place in 2016 before reverting to calling it a “big hoax.” But he always maintains that the plot against America had no impact; he describes it as a “Democrat excuse for losing the ’16 Election.”

Here is the intelligence community’s assessmentpartially declassified in January 2017: “We did not make an assessment of the impact that Russian activities had on the outcome of the 2016 election. The US Intelligence Community is charged with monitoring and assessing the intentions, capabilities, and actions of foreign actors; it does not analyze US political processes or US public opinion.” When then-CIA Director Mike Pompeo claimed last fall that “the intelligence community's assessment is that the Russian meddling that took place did not affect the outcome of the election,” his own agency rebuked him.

This brings us to today, and there is no question Trump is a walking, disruptive debacle and massive national security threat.  As I pulled out an extensive Denver Post piece from May 24 I was reminded why this mutt ("Mogul" is his Secret Service monicker) can't possibly be held in very high regard by the CIA.  Below are some of the things they've learned about him since - bearing in mind all his other transgressions with Putin, Kim Jong Un and others, as well as his traitorous lackeys like Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort et al.

- By the time of the Jan. 23 intelligence briefing, officials were already alarmed by the signs of a crisis in China where the virus first broke. But Trump balked at further measures - other than a travel ban - and the U.S. "lost its chance to more effectively mitigate the virus in the following weeks."

- Agency mainstays found Trump was "particularly difficult to brief on critical national security matters".  He lacked the interest or the attention span, as Bolton also noted in his interviews (Trump barely read one briefing per week and that had to be cartoon-ized).

Repeatedly during the most critical briefings, such as after N. Korea missile tests, Trump would "veer off on tangents and getting him back on topic proved extremely difficult".  In addition, in the midst of critical agency points Trump "was unashamed to interrupt intel officers".  Instead he would "riff about gossip he heard from former casino magnate Steve Wynn, retired golfer Gary Player, or Christopher Ruddy, the conservative media executive."

- Agency officials found that Trump "rarely absorbed information that he disagreed with, or that ran counter to his world view."  Hence putting his ignorance and stupidity above the national security interest.  As one official put it:  "Briefing him was so great a challenge compared with his predecessors that the intelligence agencies had to hire outside consultants to study how better to present information to him."   (Many suggested cartoons, but that wasn't on and no one seriously considered it.  There was a limit to how low the information conveyance mechanism could be.)

- "Working to keep Trump's interest exhausted and burned out his first briefer, Ted Gistaro.  Gistaro didn't always know what to expect and would sometimes be forced to brief an erratic and angry president upset over news reports."

- Some Agency mainstays and vets believe "Mogul" is beyond redemption - a lost cause.   They recall and cite his "yearslong attack on the intelligence agencies" and in particular how he "publicly belittled his intelligence chiefs last year after a congressional hearing where they offered assessments at odds with the White House.".  "Mogul" was so infuriated at the evident contradiction that he roared the intel chiefs "should all go back to school".

- During typical 30-50 minute briefings Mogul's most commonly used diversion was to ask the intel officials: "How do you know?"    At each point,  despite the extensive background info (which Trump never read) he chose to counter with his own deformed and erratic statistics.  Trying to steer him toward the proper and tested stats was akin to trying to teach a brain defective monkey to eat a proper banana instead of one full of fungus.    Worse, "any time the intel chiefs directly challenged Mogul and his bogus stats eroded his trust further and he stopped listening".

What we have here is a cumulative assay of betrayal, incompetence and wreckage on a national scale and driven by the putative "leader" of the nation. A mentally deranged buffoon and plausible puppet for an enemy state who - as Bolton noted in his book and interviews - consistently puts himself at the center of action, decision and response - never the nation.  In this sense he has betrayed his oath to the Constitution and is little more than a traitor, irrespective of his clownish reactions to intelligence briefings - which themselves show he needs to resign forthwith.  As WSJ columnist Peggy Noonan wrote in her recent (June 6-7, p. A13) piece:

"This will not end well. With his timing he'd know it. He should give an Oval Office address announcing he's leaving: 'America, you don't deserve me'. "

Joseph Maguire, former acting director of national intelligence (according to the Post piece) "told briefers they need to understand Trump honed his style on reality television".

Maybe. But even a nominally sane and intelligent person - especially one who had been elected president- should grasp that nuclear codes, warheads, cruise missiles and dealing with monster hurricanes and pandemics are not the fluff of reality TV.  Hence, the sane and intelligent person adapts to the new situation, especially given he took a freaking oath to defend the people and the country - from all enemies foreign and domestic. That 'Mogul"  hasn't processed that and needs people like Maguire to make excuses for him, shows how unfit he is to lead this nation.    This is especially given (ibid.):

"The briefer - always a top CIA analyst- delivers the latest secrets and best insights from the 17 intelligence agencies - and are based on the President's Daily Brief - the crown jewel of intelligence reports."

Can we now say these top class briefings- delivered to "Mogul"  - are the equivalent of casting precious pearls before an ornery swine? Yes, I believe we can. And a traitor to boot.  After more than 11 major takes (in assorted books) on "Mogul" as an unfit, reckless, willing pawn for our domestic enemies - no more is needed.

We don't need another repeat of Bolton's (or Comey's, or Bandy X.Lee's, or Bob Woodward's, or 'ANONYMOUS et al) books to re-confirm what we already know:  the bloated, orange maggot is a threat to this nation and needs to be removed from office ASAP.   As Janice put it: "He shouldn't even get an extra two and a half months to wreak havoc after the November 3rd general election."

Indeed, we really need him gone now, but can only hope our democratic system (especially preserving the integrity of the vote) has sufficient resilience to withstand his coming attacks until November!

Why I Treat Trump's Base As The "Walking Dead"

Image result for Trump zombies images

As images of the Swine- in -Chief came over the TV screen, bellowing balderdash at a Minnesota rally about Joe Biden, we quickly turned to MSNBC and Chris Hayes' show.  There Harvard law professor Charles Fried correctly depicted Trump as the derelict,  low class buffoon and national embarrassment he really is, noting:

"No president in history has ever talked this way! Can you imagine  Dwight Eisenhower speaking the way this man speaks, or Lincoln, or Teddy Roosevelt? This man is ignorant and fol ,mouthed."

Prof. Fried added:

"This man terrifies me. Because of the way he thinks and what he says about himself. Basically, he says according to Article 2 powers he has the right to do whatever he pleases. He doesn't and any lawyer knows that- except maybe Bill Barr and Mr. Sekulow.   Everybody's who's studied the Constitution - which I teach, knows that."

So why don't the Trumpies?  Why can't these benighted followers see they're being used as pawns by Trump in a bid to get re-elected and trash this country into autocratic oblivion? Instead it seems these brain dead followers  will make up any excuse to kiss his butt and follow him, even into the gates of hell.  In many ways this lot reminds me of the 900 -odd cult followers of Jim Jones who drank his kool aid to show their undying gratitude and adulation. Except they all croaked, e.g.
But more plausibly, after examining the Trump base specimens in detail,  they are more akin to zombies, aka the "walking dead.""

According to a recent piece in the UK  Guardian, referencing Trump's Minneapolis rally:

"Thousands  sat in the stands wearing “Make America Great Again” caps as well as sweaters and T-shirts with slogans such as 'Cops for Trump', 'Fake News', 'Socialism Sucks', 'Space Force' and 'The Trump Strikes Back'.

They cheered as Trump delivered a blunt message: he is going nowhere. In fact, a man who built his political career on the formula that what does not kill him makes him stronger aims to do it again with the impeachment inquiry. In a blistering and blustering 102-minute speech, he made clear he intends to wield impeachment as a cudgel in next year’s presidential election.

The formula only works because of his fiercely partisan support base, which has proved willing to swallow his faults because he shares their animus towards the same foes. Robert Leonard, a radio news director in Iowa, told CNN many conservatives are “standing strong behind President Trump because he is a kind of a golden hammer” that they believe is “needed to break what they see as the liberal stranglehold on America”.

The piece went on to note that all but two with whom the Guardian spoke  dismissed the impeachment inquiry, triggered by Trump pressuring the leader of Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden, one of his leading rivals, as mere political theatre. Few were troubled by the president’s abrupt decision to withdraw US troops from northern Syria.

Now as we behold the results of traitor Trump's betrayal of the Iraqi Kurds,  with Turkish bombs raining down down on Kurdish prisons releasing ISIS terrorists - while the Kurds are butchered by the same Turks - one wonders what manner of person would support such an arrogant, outlaw scum who dares call himself a leader? It didn't take long for me to suggest to Janice one of those zombies from The Walking Dead.  Proof? Look no further than the idiocy spouted by one of the  resident kool aid drinkers  at the MN rally:

We think the United States is under attack by the liberals and it’s really changing our culture, pushing us towards socialism. We are so grateful for a president like him putting the American people first. Yes, he has faults, but don’t we all?"

This brain fart -  supposedly from a "retired educational administrator"  -   begs the question: What kind of educational administrator?   Anyone with half a brain, not even at the level of an "educator" or "administrator" would grasp Trump isn't putting the American people first. Not with his trade war, economy wrecking tariffs and bogus tax cuts for which 90 percent of the benefits have gone to the wealthiest and corporations.

And hey, surely putting America (and  the American people) first never meant leaving American soldiers behind. The NY Times reported Monday that removing the American troops from Syria may now require an airlift.   Trump basically, in his rush to withdraw, left soldiers abandoned "trapped between two advancing armies" - as the media informs us.

So doesn't this self-proclaimed "educational administrator"  know any of that? Doesn't he know that Trump  shaking down a foreign head of state to help him dig up dirt on a political opponent is not just a  "fault"?   It's an impeachable offense, and abuse of the power of his office. But since this stooge likely never even graduated high scho ol it makes sense he'd be ignorant of the difference.

But this is the sort of rabble and refuse we have to contend with, and  then we're advised to make nice and be civil with these Walkers in the interest of national comity. Well to hell with that.  Still, one must be grateful that a wide swath of our population - minus Trump's 43 percent of 'biters'- have managed to pick up on Trump's massive mental defects, though they lack any formal training in the psychology profession.  This, according to Diana Diamond, a professor emeritus of psychology at the City University of New York who's just completed a clinical guide for treating narcissistic pathology. According to Prof. Diamond, quoted in a recent NY Times piece:

“ Like many narcissistic personalities, he may cause more severe distress in others than he himself experiences.

Indeed, and I'd say it's even worse. See e.g.

Look, from the beginning of his presidency (and even before), mental health professionals and normal citizens  have sounded the alarm about Trump’s stability.  See for example, my take on his lack of any moral compass derived from getting treated like Hitler when he was as a kid, e.g.

Narcissism, The Pre-Moral Mind and Donald J. Trump...

Also recall Bandy X. Lee, a forensic psychiatrist at Yale and editor of “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump.”   described Trump's mental malignancy to a tee, leaving out nothing. She depicts a dyspeptic and disruptive personality and a peril to our collective security each day he remains in office.  Few of Trump's followers may believe the psychologists and therps who contributed to Prof. Lee's  book, but maybe they will believe Tony Schwarz,  the ghost writer who helped him do 'The Art of the Deal'.   In his words (p. 73, ibid.):
"His amygdala is repeatedly triggered...and his prefrontal cortex - the part of the brain that makes us capable of rationality and reflection - shuts down. He reacts rather than reflects - and damn the consequences.  This is what makes his access to the nuclear codes so dangerous and frightening."

Opinion writers have also  discussed his narcissism openly; so have administration officials, though only in private.

Prof.  Lee's book, which I read last year, is a tour de force on malignant personality in a leader, and echoes many similar assessments of Adolf Hitler..  See e.g.

More recently, in an interview with The Inquisitir she asserts that the media, politicians and the American public don't understand the peril that his mental pathology poses.   Most disturbing is her take on Trump's most ardent supporters (who I peg as the Walking Dead).  These forlorn zeros continue to enable and energize him and "are driven by a desire for chaos and want to see society burn."

I have no doubt of that, and again attribute this perverse attitude to their own failures and grievances which at least are tolerable if everyone else - especially of any stature- goes down with them.  And what better vehicle than the combustible,  unstable criminal with access to the nuclear codes.

As Lee also made clear,   Trump has "conclusively failed a most basic test of mental capacity"  adding:  "Without mental capacity, no presidential capacity is possible, or for any other jobs."

Let's note the distinguishing feature of the zombie, the "walker", is the lack of any executive brain function.  There is no capacity for analysis, reason, or even basic language expression or interpretation. All responses are totally reactive, like when his zombie packs mindlessly bellow  "Lock him up!"  or "Lock her up!" after Trump spouts it.  All the brain left is in the reptilian  R-complex and amygdala.  We see this repeatedly in Trump rally scenes, and in the responses of the zombie pack..

The impetus for destruction is also a characteristic of the walker.  Hence, the existing defect in mental capacity, other than for hatred and chaos, affects Trump's base like a contagion.  Indeed, they identify with fellow Trumpies by their hatred of  political correctness (which is also the manifestation of a form of social moral capacity), elitism in any form  and the "establishment elites" .  Their own mental deficits also compel narcissistic hungers - similar to zombie brain hunger-   that lead them to identify with Trump and emulate his bestial ferocity and incivility. .  Hence, they aspire to become the bodacious bully they see in Trump and love it  when he says "punch 'em out".   Like the walking dead in the series, lacking any consistent supports and resources, only the familiarity of the 'pack, their abiding drive is to only inflict pain on the outsiders: the Dems, the women voters who despise Trump as a serial assaulter and the citizens who tag him f.or the social predator and traitor he is.

Their narcissistic pathology and aggression based on imagined grievance  (and isolation from actual citizens) is aligned with Trump's which is where the real danger lies for our nation and any future civility.  For so long as Trumpism and its implicit degeneracy and incivility is their guiding star there will never be peace in the U.S., civil peace. We will always be one disastrous event from a de facto civil war-  with the walking dead.  We better win, starting with the election next year or we devolve into a nation of the Walking Dead, as millions more become inured to the toxicity.

Trump's 2017 Grade : F-Minus ( Lazy Bum, Liar & Poseur)

"Hey, I'd rather loaf in Florida than stay in the White House and work! Whaddya think I am, a real President?"

The verdict is pretty well in after Donnie Dotard's first 11 months in office, and the general consensus is that we have a no good bum, twitter troll and poseur on our hands - occupying the oval office. As noted on NBC  News 2 nights ago, this lazy maggot has been goofing off on his various properties (Mar-A-Lago, Bedminster,  etc.) for 109 days or nearly a third of the time he's been in office This is the same obnoxious turkey who promised during his campaign he'd "never take a day off," bragging, unlike his predecessor, that he "loves to work".

I don't think so. Unlike Obama, who took fewer than one fifth the days off that Trump has up to now,  the unadulterated fact is that Donald Dotard hates to work. He watches cable TV for up to 8 hours a day, and when he isn't tweeting bunkum he's on the crapper reading comics (and The National Enquirer) -out of sight. When he's not doing any of those things he's bumming at his various properties, especially Mar-A-Lago, but always claiming he's on a "working vacation".

Working vacation my ass. He no more knows what that means than he knows the role of differential calculus in computing planetary orbital elements. The New York Times reports that by his fourth month in office, Trump had already spent more time on the links than his three predecessors combined.

Former JFK assassination researcher and political blogger Jefferson Morley has written in a recent post (smirkingchimp.com) :

"In 2016, Americans who work full time accrued an average of 22.6 paid vacation days, though only used 16.8, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The second figure represents a half-day increase over 2015. During Trump's 11-plus months in office, he has already spent over 100 days on golf resorts, including more than one month each at his properties in New Jersey and Florida, per the Wall Street Journal."

As I noted, it's already 109 days  bumming on the job and counting.  That is how lazy this ambulatory turd is, and it boggles the mind his delusional followers haven't wised up yet on how he's also screwing them. (The tax money Trump has spent on golf carts alone could have bought 54,095 school lunches.)

Lest we forget, five days into his presidency he  even bawled that the job had  turned out to be too much for him to deal with. Too many details, too much stuff to master for an extensive government bureaucracy.  Hence, his penchant for becoming a cable TV addict and twitter troll. See e.g.

http://theconcourse.deadspin.com/donald-trump-stunned-to-learn-presidency-is-an-actual-j-1792215349

Excerpt:

Being president is harder than Donald Trump thought,” begins the article, neatly capturing the blithe, criminal ignorance that characterizes both Trump himself and the many dozens of millions of morons who thought he should be the leader of the free world. Yes, being the president is a harder job than Donald Trump would expect, because Donald Trump had never previously held an actual job, because actually, spending your inheritance on a succession of failed cons is not an actual job."

But hey, if the job is too much maybe he ought to resign. It beats wasting time tweeting and watching TV for a combined nine hours a day - when he isn't in Palm Beach hosting his rich country club boys with lavish dinners or playing golf with them. On the taxpayer's dime.

This bum and his parasite family are also running up security costs, helping to bleed out taxpayers. As of March 18, The Denver Post (page 9A) reported

$60 M Extra for Trump-

The U.S. Secret Service requested $60 million in additional funding for the next year, offering the most precise estimate yet for the escalating costs for travel and protection resulting from the unusually complicated lifestyle of the Trump family.  Nearly half of the additional money ($26.8m) would be used to protect Trump's family in Trump Tower, while $33 million would be used for Trump's regular travel costs, especially to Mar-a-Lago.

Current (most recent) estimates are that these figures will be exceeded five fold.  By all that's just and fair, this con man bum and his family ought to be paying for their own security instead of bleeding taxpayers dry.

In addition, each time this bum goes to his Palm Beach hacienda he disrupts the lives and businesses of everyone there. The local costs that add up include: for local police deputies guarding the estate, the U.S. Coast Guard having to be deployed in surrounding waters and Air Force One - costing $180,000 per hour to operate. Oh, and extra cops on duty in case of any demonstrations.

That's not all, not by a long shot. Back in March, The Palm Beach Post reported Trump's golfing excursions were threatening to put the Lantana Airport in Palm Beach County out of business because it has to close every weekend the lazy bum.....errrr "president",  is in town.  At least one business owner estimated the  Airport was losing over $35,000 each weekend the  loafer-in-chief and his entourage came in, as opposed to staying at the White House.

Morley adds:

"Common Dreams notes that not only do the president's excursions raise questions about his level of interest in governing, they also likely constitute an ethics violation, as each trip benefits his properties financially. Prior to assuming office, the president handed control of the Trump Foundation to his sons, Eric and Donald Jr., but refused to divest from his business interests, which include the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster and Mar-a-Lago; the president calls the latter his "winter White House."

Let's also acknowledge the guy is a pathological liar and swindler.  Naomi Klein in her book, No Is Not Enough, reports (p. 140) how Dotard related to his Fox n' Friends sycophants how he swindled a land renter some years ago.  In his own words:

"I rented him a piece of land. He paid more for one night than the land was worth for a whole year. And then I didn't let him use the land. I don't want to use the word screwed, but I screwed him. That's what we should be doing."

Bingo!  And this swindler has also screwed his own delirious, gullible groupies, feeding them the malarkey they will get some good money in his just passed tax cuts, so much that  he will suffer like the other rich assholes. Then turning around and bragging to his rich parasite pals how THEY will be the ones to reap the rewards and get richer! See e.g.

https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2017/12/trump-celebrates-tax-bill-with-mar-a-lago-friends-you-all-just-got-a-lot-richer.html

Excerpt:

President Trump was in a celebratory mood on Friday night and told a group of his wealthy friends, “You all just got a lot richer” after he signed the tax cuts into law. Trump reportedly uttered the words to a group of friends who were having dinner nearby at Mar-a-Lago, including two friends who spoke to CBS News

In other words, a goddamned liar. But what's new? He's been lying his ass off all year, from accusing Obama of wiretapping to lying about his inauguration crowd, and about James Comey.  Even recently lying that he's "signed more bills into law than any modern president since Harry Truman". Hell, his daft groupies even lie for him having the gall to compare him to JFK. For those who might somehow think he signed as many bills this past year as JFK here's a reality check: Up to now Dotard has signed 92 bills but that is still HUNDREDS fewer than JFK signed (700) up to the same point in his presidency.

Even Bill Clinton signed 209 bills in the same amount of time, and Gee Dumbya Bush signed 242, according to a bill tracking website.  In other words this lazy putz really does spend more time lollygagging on his twitter feed or watching TV than anyone else in modern history, As I said, he's a lazy bum and liar.

Perhaps if Donnie Dotard feels he no longer belongs in "the People's House" and the job is too much for his senile brain, he ought to resign. Leave it.  Again, let's remind ourselves this is the same turd who claimed Obama was "wasting tax  money"  and "taking more time off than any other human" barely three years ago.

Before leaving let's also recognize that even beyond Dotard's laziness, lies and swindles is the danger he poses to this Republic. He is, as the contributors to the recent book 'The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump' note, a disruptive personality and a peril to our collective security each day he remains in office.  Few of Trump's followers may believe the psychologists and therps who contributed to Bandy X. Lee's  above cited book, but maybe they will believe Tony Schwarz,  the ghost writer who helped him do 'The Art of the Deal'.

And why we in the sane segment of the populace need to keep an even sharper eye on this degenerate, in the coming year. He's a true cancer on the office of the presidency - until he can be extracted, removed.

For his lies alone, breaking even the record of Richard Milhous Nixon, Donnie Dotard merits an F minus as a grade for 2017.  And that's being generous!
