Conservative Knuckle heads Protest "Julius Caesar" Play In Park - Prove They're Hypocrites and Pro-Censorship

The Public Theater's Free Shakespeare in the Park production has caused controversy
Scene from 'Julius Caesar'  in Shakespeare in Park performance. Idiot Trumpies who rushed the stage can't tell fiction from reality.

We are in parlous times indeed when morons of the Right are unable to even parse reality from a fictional play and actors from actual personae. And so it was several days ago conservative lamos tried to interrupt the current Shakespeare in the Park performance of Julius Caesar because they believed it was portraying the "assassination" of their scumball hero prez who loves to grab pussies and insult the disabled.

The bimbo who did the main interruption later identified herself on social media as Laura Loomer . This half wit had jumped onto the stage just after the assassination of Caesar and began shouting, “Stop the normalization of political violence against the right,” and, “This is violence against Donald Trump.” Ms. Loomer described  herself as a “a right-wing investigative journalist and activist” who has previously worked with James O’Keefe, the guy who loves to confabulate false news using edited videos.

Subsequently,  her compatriot emerged shouting  to the crowd: “You are all Goebbels,” a reference to the Hitler aide and Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels.  Again, this sorry fool unable to distinguish a genuine Nazi piece of filth from a crowd who's merely gathered for some free entertainment. He really needs to go back to his meds, or ECT.

On social media,  this looneytune - Jack Posobiec-   describes himself as an activist who supports President Trump and has been associated with conspiracy theories, identified himself as Ms. Loomer’s collaborator. Well, nuts of a kind are equally blind.

Loomer, however, is little different from the odd knuckleheads who dispatched tweets to 'Fox n' Friends' this a.m. with such stellar observations as ; "The Left must stop killing our POTUS!"  And, paying a genuine tribute to free speech and artistic independence: "The Left must learn it has to temper what it says and does".  Oh really, you asswit? Like you do when you screech about the Left denying Anne Coulter a speaking gig? Gimme a break!

The earlier tweet about "killing our POTUS" shows how fucking dumb these fools are, they can't even tell a play from reality. But it's no surprise given how they indiscriminately gobble up fake news. In fact, no one is being "killed" as it's a play with actor Gregg Henry (of "Rich Man, Poor Man" fame) playing the role of Julius Caesar. That he might happen to look slightly like the Donald doesn't make him the Donald.  A point that shouldn't need repeating but to people who can't tell fable from fact it does.

Other deranged half wits attempted to disrupt the final performance yesterday. One protester, Jovanni Vale, even stormed the stage and shouted “Liberal hate kills” before being quickly grabbed by security, according to the New York Daily News. Soon after, Salvatore Cipolla did the same while yelling “Goebbels would be proud.”  No, asshole, the same Goebbels who oversaw massive Nazi book burnings would be proud of a loser like you it you managed to shut down the production!

What are more apropos remarks than the Right's squealing included New York Times theatre critic, Jesse Green, writing: “Its depiction of a petulant, blondish Caesar in a blue suit, complete with gold bathtub and a pouty Slavic wife, takes onstage Trump-trolling to a startling new level.”

Well, uh yeah, but let's not forget how the Trumpies  (not to mention Trump himself) trolled the rest of the country all the way through the 2016 campaign and then after.

David von Drehle in his TIME article ('Never Mind Trump, We Need Shakespeare More Than Ever', June 26, p. 17) was probably more on target when he pointed out that:

"With Trump in power, dressing a blonde actor in a long necktie and calling him Caesar is, for an impressario, as obvious as Wonder Woman 2"

He goes on to describe how and why the play so easily adjusts and adapts to different settings in space and time, because - there will always be tyrants, or wannabe tyrants, and they can always be made to come alive anew in the right casting.

Adding:

"Shakespeare would revel in the hypocrisy of Trump's shocked, shocked defenders".

Indeed. Because these nitwits are blind to their hypocrisy and how they enjoyed - not doing actual plays as artistic license- but straight out hanging Obama in effigy and claiming "free speech" e.g.

Actor Gregg Henry  was quoted by the UK Telegraph:

"The Roman emperor became drunk with ego, drunk with power, drunk with ambition and the belief that he and he alone must rule the world. The idea for me was to try and show you that this could be Trump.”

Adding:

“When a tyrant comes to power, it’s very important how you then try to deal with the problem - because if you don’t deal with the problem in a proper way, you can end up losing democracy for like, 2000 years.”

Ouch! Don't go there, Mr. Henry or the Reich's imbeciles will believe you actually are pretending to BE Trump!

Meanwhile, the unhinged freakazoids of the Right keep on with their petty victimizations. Though the  Times has been sponsoring the  Public Theater for over 20 years, and said they would continue to do so for reasons of artistic independence - the right wing website The Daily Caller published a story with the headline: "The New York Times is sponsoring an assassination depiction of Donald Trump."

Again, the historical and literary retards can't discern it's a depiction of the assassination of Julius Caesar in a modern setting, wearing suits instead of togas. Not Donald Trump.

If we are now going to allow the Right to try to enforce censorship of artistic productions, we are really in deep shit as a nation. Dick Cavett, when asked about his opinion by Ari Melber yesterday evening was blunt: "I'm against any kind of censorship. That's not what this nation is about."

But make no mistake, the weenies and hypocrites of the Right - after the shooting last week - will try their level best to use it to snuff out creative productions, as well as intense criticism of their agenda. The Left and Democrats must not allow this, and stand up to this lot each time they try to conflate fiction and reality.

Words from Shakespeare to remind us of the times we're in where too many can't discern reality from fable:

"Indeed, it is a strange disposed time:

But men may construe things after their fashion,

Clean from the purpose of the things themselves."

Millennial Voters Outraged As Dems' Super Delegates Continue Support For Hillary

As most of us are aware, Bernie Sanders’ youthful supporters are idealistic as well as aspirational. They embrace this 74 year old democratic socialist from Brooklyn because he doesn’t try to BS them, and fairly oozes integrity from every pore. You hear it when he speaks as he did last night at the MSNBC -sponsored Nevada town hall.

Now, alas, despite what he manages to do in the Nevada caucus it may all be for naught. This is because of the rigged, undemocratic superdelegate system managed by the DNC and the Democratic Party establishment.  As I noted before, e.g.

this is a 'shadow' electoral system at work, upending and denying Democratic primary  voters' will and awarding more “hidden”  delegates to Hillary despite Sanders being more than competitive – tying her in Iowa and trouncing her in the NH primary.

Despite the latter, Bernie picked up barely 15 delegate votes tying the 15 for Hillary. She "equalized"  because she managed to get more superdelegates to trump the actual voters’ will, ensuring a clear win for Sanders. So, while she earned only  7 delegates from the actual NH vote count, she gained 8 extras from the corrupt superdelegate system. WHO were these unelected eight? According to The Daily Caller:

”These are party officials who are free to commit to whomever they like, regardless of how their state votes. Their votes count the same as delegates won through the primary.New Hampshire has 8 superdelegates,"

Now, alas, things have gotten much worse for Bernie as 87 more superdelegates have moved into Hillary’s column before the Nevada and SC votes even began. According to the AP, Clinton leads Sanders by 481 to 55 . As a Denver Post article about it today noted (‘Despite Lopsided NH Loss, Clinton Has More Superdelegates’, p. 12 A):

“It’s essentially a parallel election system that underscores Clinton’s lopsided support from the Democratic establishment”

I would put it in more blunt terms: It is essentially a rigged shadow system that trumps the will and choice of regular, ordinary citizens. It is, in fact, an affront to democracy and to the idealism of the youthful voters who back Sen. Sanders.

But at the same time, many of Bernie’s supporters appear to be on to this slimy system and its many agents. According to the same Post article, a number of these superdelegates have been contacted and criticized for their willingness to overturn the primary process with their shadow votes. Not too surprisingly, the imps don’t like it and many are appalled at being caught out.

Quoting one of them, an Indiana superdelegate named Cordelia Lewis –Burks:

“I’m sick and tired of them! It’s very aggravating to be bashed on my own computer by these people who it’s probably the first time they’ve ever voted. I’ve been in the trenches since I was 20.”

Ok, first, “these people” as you call them, are all about democratic ideals. They believe in the old standard of one vote- one person, and that their vote counts. But in the superdelegate system it doesn’t, it is simply negated by your own hidden clique. How else explain a 481-55 Hillary lead even before Super Tuesday, with Sanders now likely having to get landslide wins in all the remaining primaries to even have a chance?

Also, whether you “worked in the trenches” since you were 20 is irrelevant and doesn’t entitle you to be able to negate the votes of ordinary citizens as part of this subversive shadow system.

Another livid IN male superdelegate – a Lacy  Johnson- whined that some Sanders’ supporters informed him “We’re not going to forget this!”  This guy, as opposed to Cordelia – didn’t play the "in the trenches” card but instead the racial "worse victim" card, asserting he was “an African –American male in his 60s” (again irrelevant to partaking in a shadow system) and claimed he “experienced the struggles”.

Incredibly this meathead added: “The experiences they’re sharing don’t faze me in comparison”

SO, in other words, because he may have been deprived of his voting rights in the Deep South he is totally ok doing it now (via trumping young kids’ votes via the DNC shadow system) and their being victims of injustice simply doesn’t compare to what he experienced way back when. Any one see anything wrong with this?

Sadly, this whole corrupt system may come back to bite the Dems in the ass come November if the Sanders’ youthful contingent does indeed feel like they were betrayed in these primaries by a rigged voting system. We will see.

Excerpt:

"Bernie Sanders had a record number of supporters turn out to give him a 22 percent win over Hillary Clinton in the New Hampshire primaries. It was a big win in terms of voter support, but it didn't translate to a big win in terms of delegate support. Despite the fact that Clinton suffered the second biggest defeat in New Hampshire's history, both candidates walked away from New Hampshire with 15 delegates.

Why?

Because in the Democratic Party, unpledged delegates, also known as "superdelegates," don't have to support the same candidate as the majority of voters. In fact, the whole point of superdelegates is to give the party elite more control over the primary process.

That's not a conspiracy theory, that's what the chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) recently told Jake Tapper. That's right, the chair of the DNC said that unpledged "superdelegates" are meant to be a bulwark against grassroots movements in the Democratic Party.

So the party decided to make their primary process just a little less Democratic by cordoning off a percentage of the total available delegates as "unpledged delegates" who don't have to support the candidate that the majority of primary voters and caucus-goers choose.
It was a move in the wrong direction - it wrested control away from voters and made the Democratic primaries fundamentally less democratic.

And the Democratic Party has only accelerated the process of handing the party over to the economic elites in our country ever since then."

A Disgusting Perversion of Democracy: The DNC's "Super Delegate" System

While many of us were ecstatic over Sen. Bernie Sanders primary victory in New Hampshire, it appears we were a tad premature. Unbeknownst to us, a 'shadow' electoral system was at work, upending and denying New Hampshire Democratic voters' will and awarding more of the state's 32 delegates to Hillary despite her being squashed 60% to 38% in cast ballots. Effectively, this disreputable system lurks beneath the outward scene of votes to undermine our democracy as these "super delegates"  - like corporate lobbyists - get to trump voters.

What gives? Well, it is the Democratic Party's skewed and rigged nominating system, overseen by the same DNC bunch that tried to whore for Hillary by initially limiting debates or screening them only at odd times, like Saturdays. Thus as one report from The Daily Caller observes:

"Though Bernie Sanders won the New Hampshire primary in a landslide over Hillary Clinton, he will likely receive fewer delegates than she will.

Sanders won 60 percent of the vote, but thanks to the Democratic Party’s nominating system, he leaves the Granite State with at least 13 delegates while she leaves with at least 15 delegates."

HUH? He gets a paltry 13 of the granite state's delegate total while she grabs 15 despite having her butt handed to her? WTF is going on here? Well, it's the DNC's "quirky" system (I call it rigged).

Evidently, get this, like many other states New Hampshire's 32 on-screen, publicized delegates (which we beheld while watching MSNBC) are a mirage, an illusion. In fact, it turns out only 24 of those 32 delegates are really up for grabs via voters, the other 8 are 'super delegates' - all prior pledged to Hillary. As I said, a rigged system because it effectively trumps the voters' will. So while on paper she gets 7 of the 32 it is in reality 7 of 24 and with 8 added that converts to 7 + 8 = 15. Hence, she "beats" Bernie's total despite him thrashing her into the middle of next year.

WHO are these unelected eight?

”These are party officials who are free to commit to whomever they like, regardless of how their state votes. Their votes count the same as delegates won through the primary.New Hampshire has 8 superdelegates,"

And let me translate that: Given these super delegates were also hatched by the Dem Establishment - the DNC - you can be sure all those "officials" are all going for Hillary. As I said, a travesty of the democratic process.

The sad news right now out of this undemocratic system?  Clinton has 394 delegates, both super and electorally assigned, to only 42 for Sanders. This despite two effective losses to Sanders, in Iowa and now New Hampshire

It will be a long, hard slog for Bernie indeed, but Dem voters need to be aware of how, essentially, their primary votes hardly play a role any more given this skewed, disgraceful DNC system! . Is it time to kick up a ruckus and activate protests? You better believe it!
