Trump's Sunday JoyRide Proves He Isn't Taking COVID Seriously And Only Cares About Energizing His Zombies

Trump during his joyride yesterday

There's no reason why anyone should be surprised that the timeline of  Trump's coronavirus infection and positive test remains confused.   Like all aspects of his con game, as Major Garret reported on CBS this a.m.,  Trump only cares about the political optics not the science and the risks.  Hence, even while his doctor (Sean Conley) admitted his oxygen levels had dipped twice in two days, the bamboozling continued.  This despite the mood being reportedly one of panic in the White House, amid growing uncertainty about the functioning of an already dysfunctional government.  This was as several of Trump’s aides, campaign staff and political allies also tested positive- likely from the super spreader farce held last Saturday for Amy Coney Barrett.

Yet we still saw the Maggot-in-chief joyriding Sunday - waving to his  "fans" errr....drooling zombie supporters-  while puttng his Secret Service team at risk.  (Stuck inside a hermetically sealed SUV with him.)

Dr James Phillips, an attending physician at Walter Reed, called the stunt “insanity”, texting:

"Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary Presidential “drive-by” just now has to be quarantined for 14 days. They might get sick. They may die. For political theater. Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theater."

According to his niece, Mary Trump, both Capt. Bonespurs and his father Fred held the view that illness was “unacceptable”.  In her words (in an NPR interview):  "He sees illness as a display of unforgiveable weakness."

This is, of course, exactly why wifey and I wanted to see this SOB seriously ill so he couldn't pull such stunts or regard Covid as a "display".   As if all the hundreds of thousands of seriously ill victims were merely putting on an act, a "display". If he had Covid let it be the real deal not some mild shit with which he could play politics and not even adhere to quarantine! Also, why we dismissed all those "get well soon" and "speedy recovery" messages mainly from the mainstream media pundits and the gullible political class on the left. (NY Times' Maureen Dowd bent herself out of shape in her last column whining about the "vulgar" memes from the Left.  What did she expect after Dotard has repeatedly used the Left (especially Antifa) as his No. 1 punching bag to create panic among the suburban moms?)

Then there was Times' columnist Gail Collins this morning bloviating:

"One of the goals of this election is reminding the world that this is not a country that believes a politician who’s terrible at his job should suffer physically."

Sorry, Gail, that's utter, weak-kneed pseudo lib codswallop!  This criminal con man traitor has already been responsible for likely over 100,000 extra deaths from Covid - on account of his downplayiing it.  He's also been bound and determined to scuttle this election you profess to care so much about, i.e. by claiming it's rigged unless he wins and relentlessly attacking mail ballots.  Not to mention calling on his racist army (e.g. Proud Boys etc.) to  intimidate voters!

So this is not merely being "terrible at his job", but intentionally and malevolently setting out to destroy our Republic to make way for an authoritarian fascist dictatorship.  Collins' anodyne response encapsulates what's wrong with the mainstream media and also why Trump is running roughshod over our  Constitution and democratic norms. So above all, this POS scum  needs to suffer and physically.  He needs to be taught a lesson that his cons and scams stop right here.  What better way than being on a ventilator for three weeks?

Let's also bear in mind that this deranged, orange ape is always about projecting faux strength which is critical to keeping his goobers in line, given they think he's the 2nd coming of Superman.  Thus when he was transferred Friday from the White House to Walter Reed hospital it was  reportedly "against his wishes".  God forbid he look like a genuinely ill Covid patient.  So not surprising we've   been treated to this bit of Kabuki theater.  As Dr. David Agus said on CBS this morning: "It was incredible seeing him riding around waving when no patients I know are even allowed to see their families.  He's also supposed to be quarantined."

Agus' take, with which I agree, is that Trump ordered his docs to allow the stunt, i.e. "I am your commander-in-chief and this is what I demand!"  Again, as Major Garret noted, this is all about politics - the political agenda of downplaying the virus while keeping his supporters energized and involved.   Meanwhile, we learned yesterday (NBC News) that even as Obama had sent out conciliatory well wishes Saturday Trump's campaign targeted  him with "Obama LIED!" attacks.  This is the degenerate refuse we have to deal with, and why it is so dumbfounding Biden pulled his negative ads.(Like to fight with one arm tied behind you, Joe?)  Does he think Trump would have done that if the situations were reversed? See e.g.

One comment from Dr. David Agus also stuck with me, when he mentioned Trump being given a steroid treatment  (Dexamethasone) proven to benefit Covid-19 patients who are having breathing difficulties.  Dr. Agus noted one side effect is "mania" and extraordinary bursts of energy.  This got me to believe the drug may well have exacerbated Trump's hyper reckless actions, and induced his insane Sunday joy ride.

Let's also note that on Sunday, following conflicting reports about the seriousness of Trump’s symptoms, his doctor (Conley) admitted the O2  levels had dipped suddenly twice in two days. Nonetheless Conley insisted Dotard's condition was improving and he could be discharged as soon as Monday.  Thus Conley became Trump's latest willing stooge - as so many officials in different gov't agencies have been -   corrupted by this egoistic orange, pustulating pestilence.

So no surprise none of what we've beheld makes sense or jibes with Trump's actions or his potent, 3-way drug cocktail, as Agus said.  The truth is we are all likely being played - in the absence of a genuinely serious illness - and it is clearly a political ploy: to try to get a "sympathy bounce" in the polls. As the NY Times lead article noted today:

"The Trump campaign is hoping the nation will rally around the ailing president as he battles the coronavirus."

It is possible the Swine could get away with it, barring a rapid decline (or relapse)  in the next few days. But fortunately we also read (ibid.):

"Polls by Ipsos/Reuters and YouGov/Yahoo conducted on Friday and Saturday found that most Americans feel the president hadn’t been taking the coronavirus seriously, in terms of policy or personal conduct, and that he could have avoided getting sick."

Let us hope these polls hold, and aren't altered to a sympathy bounce by a sudden surge of undecided nincompoops who feel sorry for the Dotard.  Any feeling sorry ought to be countered by considering how many hundreds of lives this fungal excrescence has put at risk just in the past few days.

Excerpt:

"Every patriot should be horrified by Trump’s unpatriotic attacks on democracy itself; on our elections, on the U.S. Constitution, on the separation of powers, on freedom of the press, and on bedrock values and principles we hold dear as Americans: honesty, integrity, equality, justice and respect for the rule of law. Our nation is being pushed to the breaking point by an endless cascade of calculated assaults on the truth designed to distract, divide and conquer – attacks on reality that threaten not only the freedoms our Founders risked their lives for, but the freedoms countless veterans fought and died for.
