Mensa 3D Geometry Tetrahedron Challenge

 

 

Let the 4 vertices of a particular tetrahedron are exist as half the vertices of a unit cube.    

Let the base vertices be one unit away from the fourth (apex) vertex as shown in the diagram above.  

 Given only this information find the height (H) and volume (V) of the tetrahedron.

Hint: The formula for the volume of a tetrahedron is one third the area of the base times the height H.
