Trump Calls For Russian Attacks On NATO Nations If Any Don't "Pay Up" - My Revolutionary War Ancestors Would Have Him Hung

The only 'reward' Traitor Trump deserves

"Donald Trump says many provocative things, often intentionally, to rile up opponents and dominate the airwaves. But his comments Saturday that he once told the leader of a NATO ally that he’d invite Vladimir Putin to invade is the reason many Americans won’t vote for him again even against a mentally declining President Biden. A charitable interpretation is that this is an extreme version of his boasts that he forced NATO countries in Europe to increase defense spending....

But this isn’t 2020 any more. Russia has invaded Ukraine, bombed its cities and civilians, mused about using nuclear weapons, and threatened Finland and Sweden for seeking to join NATO.  Trump’s boasts that he wouldn’t aid an ally will sow doubt in the minds of our allies and might encourage Mr. Putin to think he could get away with another invasion."  - WSJ Editorial today p. A20, Trump and NATO Deterrence

"Does anyone still doubt that this bleeping traitor is a Russian asset??? How is this thing being allowed to run for ANY public office??? It should be in prison!"

"Interesting that Putin-loving Traitor Trump is headline news in WaPo and NYT but NO MENTION OF THIS in WSJ. Right wingers being coddled, again, from knowing the truth!"

"It’s sick to see all the MAGA morons holding stupid signs and mindlessly cheering for the deranged Fascist Nazi, Donald Trump. Fox News and its copycat right wing propagandist liars are destroying this country."

Comments from WaPo readers yesterday

Even as the political firestorm in the wake of the hit job by special counsel Robert Hur smolders on, voters - sane ones - have been reminded why voting for Donald Trump is not a better bet than Biden. Never mind the bullshit meme that "he may be just 3 years younger  but he has more energy."  That "energy" is all feral, demonic, traitorous - for a seditionist and insurrectionist my Revolutionay War ancestors would have hung several times by now. See e.g.

What Would My Revolutionary War Ancestors Think Of The State Of The Country Now?

Think I'm being hyperbolic?  Then you weren't paying attention when the odious scum Donald Trump ramped up his attacks on NATO on Saturday.  Even claiming he suggested to a foreign leader that he would encourage Russia to do “whatever the hell they want” to NATO member countries he views as not spending enough on their own defense.  If that isn't cause for summary incarceration of this traitor maggot in Gitmo I don't know what is. Yet even as I write this the Supreme Court seems to be dithering about whether to apply the 14th amendment, section 3 to disqualify his ass from  being on the Colorado ballot.

During a rally at Coastal Carolina University, this orange fungal cockroach  actually barked, after hypothetically posing a request by a NATO nation for protection from a Russian attack:

"No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want.

Might that include the use of tactical nuclear weapons, to also ward off other NATO countries from coming to the rescue of the attacked nation? Of course, if Trump says encourage them to "do whatever they want".  Nothing would be left off the table.

Further, under Article 5 of NATO's collective defense clause if a NATO ally is attacked, other member countries  (including the U.S.) must consider it “an armed attack against all members".  In effect, Trump at his SC rally Saturday just proposed also an attack on the United States by implication. An attack by Russia, no less.  If this doesn't prove once and for all this scum is a traitor I don't know what does.

Nikki Hayley, indeed, at a separate rally on Saturday noted how this POS mocked her own husband - away for military service.  She promptly called the verminous beast out asserting he "is unfit to have a driver's license never mind the presidency".

Nor is this the first time Trump has threatened not to protect NATO allies from a Russian attack. During a 2022 event at the Heritage Foundation, the fungal offal recounted a meeting where he told fellow foreign leaders that he may not follow NATO’s Article 5 collective defense clause if other countries did not spend more for their own defense.

But this mindless scum has been called out more than once on his transactional bullshit.  For example, Alina Polyakova, president and CEO of the Center for European Policy Analysis, in an email to the WaPo after Trump's tirade wrote:

NATO isn’t a pay to play set up, as Trump seems to think. It’s an Alliance that is first and foremost about US national security interests to prevent another world war originating in Europe The only time that the article 5 collective defense clause was initiated was in response to 9/11. Our Allies came to our aid then, and it would be shameful and misguided to not do the same.

But see, a narcissist buttsucker like Donald Trump would never grasp that. All he grasps is that money must change hands to gain U.S. protection- which he deems "favors".  That's why he tried to rope Volodymyr Zelenskiy into doing a hatchet job for him on Hunter Biden to get more U.S. defensive support for Ukraine.  This indeed was the basis for the first Trump impeachment which should have seen the rat convicted by the full Senate.

This would have pre-emptively kneecapped his return to a presidential campaign this year, in which case Joe Biden would not have found it necessary to run again.  He could have retired after one term as he originally envisaged.  But since the Trump zombie traitor has resurrected himself (thanks to his MAGA mutts), and even warned of retribution and 'burning the constitution' Biden realized he had no choice than to run.  Given he was the only one who beat Trump before, in 2020.

The lollygagging buffoons who argue 'Oh no, Gavin Newsome could beat him' (or any other current Dem) are dreaming and need to watch the last Real Time and how guest and Atlantic staff writer  Caitlin Flanagan  punctured that brain fart after Bob Costas (who'd do better to stick with sports) proposed it.

This latest Trump evidence of Russian adoration and support has come up as the Senate is considering legislation that would give $60 billion to Ukraine. House Republicans, however, have echoed Trump’s skepticism about doing so.  And little wonder!  They desperately want their traitorous, Russian-Putin loving rat to be the next president.

Then they can celebrate an authoritarian 'trifecta' - with Trump (USA), Putin (Russia) and Orban (Hungary) all destroying NATO as well as the U.S. from within. All likely thanks to too many stupid Americans willing to vote this pestilence into power because they believe Joe Biden is too old or brain-scrambled to do the job.  No, they'd rather have a fucking traitor doing the job - on all of us.

White House spokesperson Andrew Bates hit the right note in the wake of Trump's latest traitorous outburst:

Encouraging invasions of our closest allies by murderous regimes is appalling and unhinged – and it endangers American national security, global stability, and our economy at home,”

It is also a further traitorous act-  in addition to the January 6th insurrection - which ought to have this maggot disqualified from being on any state's ballot, anywhere.

Trump is no bona fide presidential candidate, let's get that clear. Nor should he be treated as such by voters or the press. He's a criminal and insurrectionist traitor who is exploiting the multifold weaknesses of our democratic and judicial systems to storm back into unearned, unmerited power.  At which point he has openly proclaimed he will 'burn the constitution' and exact vengeance against all perceived enemies while he enlists fellow thugs to help him turn this nation into another authoritarian state. It is time for Americans to "wake up and smell the coffee".

Trump and Putin are collaborating to tear America apart. And Trump and his allies in Congress and across the spectrum of rightwing hate media aren’t even trying to hide it.

Americans aren’t used to thinking of our country as a battleground. We haven’t been invaded by another country’s military since the War of 1812 and haven’t seen blood shed on our soil in formal armed conflict since the Civil War.

But the United States is very much a battlefield today; instead of bullets and bombs, the weapons being used are digital, psychological, and social.

And increasingly Americans are being forced to choose sides: are we with democracy, or will we elect Trump and join Russia, China, and North Korea in making the world safe for dictators?

The mainstream media doesn’t seem to want to talk about this, but it’s important that America and the world face what seems increasingly clear: Vladimir Putin’s best friend in the world — the person prepared to allow Putin to mount additional wars of aggression in Europe — is the leading Republican contender for president of the United States, Donald Trump.

On Saturday, during a rally at Coastal Carolina University, Trump ramped up his attacks on NATO, claiming he suggested to a European leader that he would encourage Russia to do “whatever the hell they want” to member countries he views as not spending enough on their own defense:

“One of the presidents of a big country stood up and said, ‘Well, sir, if we don’t pay and we’re attacked by Russia, will you protect us?. I said, ‘You didn’t pay. You’re delinquent.’ He said, ‘Yes, let’s say that happened.’ No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage them to do whatever the hell they want.”

Trump’s comment puts into context his strong opposition to providing more aid for Ukraine, and why Republican lawmakers are now backing off such funding.
