In Her Only Debate Lauren Boebert Proves Again She's A Clueless Bimbo

It’s time for us to position ourselves and rise up and take our place in Christ and influence this nation as we were called to do!  We know that we are in the last of the last days, This is a time to know that you were called to be part of these last days. You get to have a role in ushering in the second coming of Jesus.!

Lauren Boebert last Friday in address to Truth & Liberty Coalition’s From Vision to Victory Conference in Woodland Park. (From The Denver Post, ‘Is Lauren Boebert A Christian Nationalist’, Sept. 15, p. 1A

The scene was set last Saturday night at Colorado Mesa University's Robinson Theater with perhaps 200 in attendance.  The debate began with moderator Edie Sonn, of the Colorado Behavioral Health Council, introducing the three panelists who would be asking questions of Boebert, a Republican, and Adam Frisch, a businessman hoping to unseat the Glock-toting  right wing firebrand in Colorado's 3rd Congressional District. The campaign is important given Boebert's loss in the midterms would improve the Dems' hope of keeping the House.

The fireworks soon began when Sonn asked if Boebert and Frisch agreed to the debate rules. Frisch replied: "Yes, ma'am."   But Boebert opted to run off the rails in an irrelevant,  cockeyed rant,  asking the moderator:

"Edie, can you please disclose to the audience that you publicly supported my 2020 Democrat candidate Dianne Mitch Bush,"

Deliberately mispronouncing the name of Dianne Mitsch Busch, the former representative for the district before Trumpism and the Big Lie infected people's brains.   Not content with this ignorance she went on:

"And can you please disclose any other roles that you have had with Democrat candidates in the past? I believe that this is relevant because when I was invited, when I received the invitation to the Club 20 debate, Club 20, CMU and the Daily Sentinel said that they want to provide a nonpartisan forum tonight,

"Isn't it true that you tweeted during the 2020 election, 'Rep. Mitch Bush I've always been a supporter of yours?"

When the high school dropout then carped that the debate was not a non-partisan event she was met with loud boos.  She was also met with stern correction by the moderator:

"Congresswoman Boebert, this is not about me tonight. This is about you and your opponent. I am here to ask, to be the traffic cop while these panelists ask questions and I respectfully ask that you respectfully agree to the terms of this debate.  If you will not do so, then we can close things down right now."

Chastened, the Bimbette finally agreed -while pouting-  and replied:

"Okay, I will agree to the rulesI am just glad that everyone is aware that Club 20 has not chosen a non-partisan moderator."

The exchange was too choice to pass up and a short clip of the moment was shared on Twitter by attorney and political commentator Ron Filipkowski, where it has amassed more than 250,000 views.

Once the debate finally got underway, after Boebert's silly distractions, it was like watching a wizened law professor school an impetuous, entitled know nothing brat.

While Boebert blabbed the usual bollocks, i.e.

"There are no moderate Democrats! The left is all part of a 'con game' run by Nancy Pelosi."

And accused Frisch of being a "a Green New Deal extremist", Frisch landed telling blows using actual facts of Boebert's failures and woeful incompetence. Thereby delivering a preview of what the House will look like under Republican rule.

He noted, for example, Boebert's legislative track record, observing that she has not managed to pass a single bill nor been willing to work with members of the opposing party.  This even included the recent bipartisan infrastructure act which would have vastly improved her own constituents' lives.

Frisch landed more blows when he asked Boebert why she voted against bills that would fund issues like cancer research, to which she replied that Pelosi “uses the most vulnerable among us” to advance her own liberal agenda.   Which, of course, is nonsense given when questioned at the time of the vote Boebert argued people ought to pay for their own cancer care and not have the government do it.

Frisch was referencing the Bimbo’s vote on the TRANSPLANT Act, which reauthorized the National Marrow Donor Program. Boebert was one of only two representatives who opposed the measure. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, of Georgia, was the other.  That is the same Taylor Greene who recently affirmed she would be supporting any bill her caucus presents that would outlaw interracial marriage. E.g.

Marcus Flowers on Twitter: "Marjorie Taylor Greene voted to not codify interracial marriage...

Frisch also cited another time when Boebert was one of eight votes against the Protecting Seniors from Emergency Scams Act. That law requires the Federal Trade Commission to put together a report on scams targeting seniors.  Those scams, as recent AARP Bulletins reported, have reached epidemic proportions and cost seniors millions - including in many cases, life savings.  As usual, Boebert argued it was not the government's responsibility and besides,

"Our law enforcement is already equipped to do this. This was just another one of Pelosi’s con games. This was a blank check."

Of course, existing law enforcement can barely keep up with the level of homicides ravaging the country since the pandemic began so are absolutely not equipped to handle senior scams.  As for being a blank check, no.  Trump using his 'Save America' con to get lower IQ voters to support his efforts to overturn the 2020 election is a blank check.

Boebert, typical of a flailing nincompoop, directed most of her closing comments toward Democrats as a whole, saying they hired 87,000 IRS agents “to come after you,"

This is similar to the scare tactics WSJ op-ed hack Lance Morrow employed when he tried to argue Dems are the "real fascists", e.g.

WSJ Hack Lance Morrow Gets Fascism 'Backwards'

But intelligent voters aren't biting  because they know those added IRS staff are desperately need to manage IRS response phone lines as well as plow through a backlog of tax returns from 2021 when the last stimulus payments and child tax credit payouts were implemented.

It's clear that one thing the debate showed is who the adult was in the room, and it assuredly was not Lauren Boebert.   Boebert did serve one important function: how dangerous it would be to put the Repukes in charge of congress again. Hopefully enough voters see that and spare no effort to make their anti- Puke votes known in less than two months!
